On all my past journey's I have been beating round the bush. Meaning, I have been focusing too much on affilaite marketing. Although profitable, I know the ins and outs of youtube; so why am I not focusing on adsense?

So that's what I did.

In the past 5 days, I posted 5 videos (not related to affiliate marketing) on my channel.

The first thing I noticed was my audience retention skyrocketed. This meant I was gaining ranks REALLY fast.

my realtime views (last 48 hours) used to be around 4,000 views. Now it's 12,000+ and counting this change occurred in the last 3-2 days.

You don't and shouldnt need to buy views.

And now that I have changed my video style, I will see some big improvements on views and earnings.

I'm from England, but I will keep earnings on dollars ($) so it's easier for everyone to estimate earnings for their own currency.

I should note that I am now trying to upload 1 video a day.

Currently at approx 14,000 subs.

14 videos, only about 8 are generating a lot of views, most of which are from the video I upload a few days ago!

So it looks like the changed I made to my video content has paid off. This is the most I have ever made from youtube adsense in 1 day and I'm ecstatic!

I wish I'd focused more on my youtube adsense growth a long time ago.

I will be updating everyday midnight (UK time)

hey, i read a lot about youtube + adsense, but i dont now where to start. how to make video actually? do i need to make profesional video?

I can do good edits but dont know what to upload

Your videos does not need to be professional. There are thousands of niches that can make you money on youtube. Spend time each day looking for them. I wish I could tell you what type of videos you need to make but youtube isnt like that. You have to be creative and entertain your audeience so they carry on watching your videos. Maybe start by getting camtasia screen recorder and start making videos by capturing your screen.

I have done giveaways in the past which got me a lot. And I pressure my viewers to subscribe throughout my videos.

I do tutorials for a particular web based game. Most of the users are teenagers so it's really easy to get their attention. I use a screen capture and record videos

I can honestly say that I'm starting to make more money than I did when I was affiliate marketing.
 
First of all, keep up the good work. Second, what is the age of your channel? This is rather intriguing, it's certainly a step off of the beaten path of spamming YouTube.

Mid 2015. However all my videos (17) are from May 2016 onwards
 
If you don't mind me asking, do you have any advice on how to market the videos?

Im in a completely different niche with 1000 subs. I would upload videos daily but after a few days I would start to lose interest because I wasnt progressing fast enough. I would try to push them on sub reddits and they would get a ton of traffic but only a couple bucks and it would slow down tremendously after a couple days.

I don't actually market my videos at all. Firstly, you need to make sure the niche you are in has a large viewer base. Youtube is not like google search results. The more videos in a particular niche means that it's popular/large view base. This means that if your video is good enough (good retention) you will gain views quickly. Having a bright in-your-face thumbnail is also key. On one of my videos thats doing well, 61% of the views comes from suggested videos. That means that my thumbnail sticks out.
