if shopify doesnt workout, im considering making a luxury/car website and promoting that with my instagram and hopefully i get returned visitors everday and i make some money with ads,


How much could i make from 1 click on a ad from a auto/car website?

Shopify will only not succeed if you cannot execute well,

Focus on building a brand and the money will come.

I have business accounts and niche accounts so:

Business accounts have a link to ecommerce store
Niche accounts have no links and are used to grow a large targeted following and then shoutout my business accounts which will result in them growing a following and building sales through ecommerce.

You don't have to invest financially but you have to be commited to understanding the context of the platform (or like I suggested hiring someone if that's easier).

If it is a business account you should post every 3-4 posts about your product, If you only have 1 account you need to have a means of driving traffic through either shoutouts or growing niche pages around your brand.

For example if your starting a car accessory ecommerce store selling keyrings or stickers

You should start growing niche pages of supercars and then shoutout your business page, you need to be able to drive traffic.



Do you see how a lot of posts are of luxury cars? that's called 'branding' they sell a luxury accessory clip and use pictures of supercars for branding by association so that customers view their products in the same context as luxury cars that are displayed on the Instagram.

Ok so if i got this right, niche page is strickly posting pictures of your niche and every 4-5 post give your business page a shoutout?

Business page is promoting your product but posting something asides from the product your selling also to give the audience a different perception of the item your selling, if i got that correct?

Niche page should mainly be pictures around the lifestyle of the niche in the same context as a magazine, and then advertise your business account how you see fit, I think every other day works well.

Yes build a lifestyle around your business account you can't post product shots all the time (unless you can financially afford to create all of your own branded content).

Ok im going to try that, im going to let my business partner on instagram im working with know as well, im going to profiy about $200-$250 for each item i s.e.l.l. so if i can s.e.l.l 2-3 a day that would be awesome.

Quality before quantity, you can have a 20k list that nets you 10 sales, or you could have a targeted 1k list that nets you 10 sales. I know which one is rather have.

Sythix what program are you using for your instagram pages? I don't really like the idea of publishing every photo with my smartphone on that account. I want to expand my existing fanpages of facebook to instagram so it would be great if there was something like ifttt for instagram or something.

Well i cant speak for my business partner and neither can you, it seems like he knows what he is doing, he said he has a few instagram accounts 1 instagram account that is very active and has 45k followers releated directly to the product we are launching.

so i cant speak for him, and i wouldnt say i cant succeed on instagram either, im a hustler, ive been hustling all my life its what i do. Look me and you had some rough patches on this thread. I just started man, thats the bottom line, is anyone ever good or successful at antying when first starting out on whatever it is that they are doing?

Its going to take some testing on my end, you have elimnated a lot of test for me already on my end with some of the info you shared. My instagram account was dormant for 4 months lost tons or trust and engagement, in 4 days ive gotten 2k real followers. Im just going to see where this takes me, im going to do what you said with the niche and business pages, i took of the links and any spamming post i made, its all strickyl content and the occassional shoutout to my business/money page.

And if you say this strategy is so good and its effective well only time will tell. Your not going to pay my bills, i have to pay my bills. so im not going to give up because no one is going to pay my bills and i hope in 3-4 months hopefully alot sooner than that i will be able to post some very good earning reports to give other motivation and inspiration, because im saying right now i dont know jack about instagram, i didnt even really know what it was up until 8 months ago. I feel like ive come a long way, how many followers does the average user have? a few hundred? I have almost 15k, ik that aint jack to alot of the big pages, but to put that in perspective i have 15k people in my follower list, that is a filled up hockey rink or a city of people.

thats pretty powerful, im just getting started.

At the end of the day i need to know how to market on instagram for it to be successful, i get that. but that is going to take with testing, because you Dm'ing asking me for $1000 a month to be my consultant isnt in my interest right now, i would totally do it if i could for sure succedd with this, but its hard for me to dump tons of money into something and in 4 week my account could end up banned.


Thats my little rant, nothing personal towards you. Im just self talking really.

I mean if you want to work out a deal wher eyou get a certain percent of my profits if you consult me, i could do something like that, i just dont want any out of pocket money until i get this figured out.

I tell you the product I'm selling to generate $90k 'add to carts' not sales in a short period of time and you reply with this:

"Thats actually the product i was going to jump back on to, the profit margin is awesome on them"

"i just switched my whole shopify store up for those, there plenty of money to go around right? lol"

And then try and publicly shame me because I said I would charge $1k to setup a strategy you can implement and wouldn't design your marketing strategy to compete against me for free.

Then I come online and see you say I'm spamming you and you just end your latest PM with this:

"Well you given me some good info, thanks.One more question, do you use ads at all? if so which platform?"

Here's a word of advice genius:

Don't tell someone your going to steal their business model and product and then complain when they say they won't help for free.

Tbh, I am still new to Instagram, I mainly focus on tumblr, and Pinterest, but I am branching out into everything, including Instagram.

You may have heard me talk about being against bots and software, I like to do everything by hand at first until it starts to grow organically, then I introduce ifttt.

Unfortunately, ifttt and Instagram don't really mesh well. No good recipes.

I use bluestacks for Instagram though. I also don't like using my smart phone to manage accounts unless I have to. With bluestacks I can upload images from my laptop no problem.

Another one that gave up on this method that simply does not work. Extremely competitive and hard to do. That's like maybe 100 journey that ended in like two months here on bhw. Lol
