Instagram+Shopify Journey ***bigstuffpoppin***

LOL, made me laugh haha.
Why you gotta troll OP like that?

OP, what did you change it to?

I think only a few people that understand Instagram is about building a following/ brand,

and not spamming which doesn't work haha.

Sorry Not much has changed, im kind of disapointed in the last 4-5 days ive had about 50 unique visitors which isnt badd if they converted but i get the feeling that most of those clicks came from BHW.

Im in talks with a BHW member and we may be partnering up, he will help me market it.

You need to view Instagram as a media platform, for example magazine.

A magazine works like: content/content/content/ad

Stop spamming people and focus on creating content others like, with will in return get you what you want. (if you're good)

ok makes sense, well im not really spamming but today i only got 1 unique click from pakistan. im testing out teespring see if ican do anything with that.

another question is it possible to get something to go viral on instagram like facebook or youtube? honesly it doesnt seem like it.

I target hastags to get followers specific to my niche. You have to be clever when you target hashtags, but if done well it can be a great source of targeted traffic.

Hashtags dont work for me could you give me an example? how specific do you get with hashtags? i tell you what following all a specifcs pages followers that is almost identical to your own page gets me a great follow back ratio or close to 40% some days, today, i just started doing it and i got almost 700 followers.

If i can duplicate that, i can build a monster page.

I can easily get hundreds of UV daily on a new Shopify site.

You are asking really novice questions, educate yourself man there's so much information out there.

Find someone who is achieve what you want to achieve and study how they did it.

You get hundreds on UV, well how many followers do you have? I could get a xxxxx clicks to my website if i had a huge account to.

I agree, OP, if you're getting 1 click then something is seriously wrong.
Either your account is poorly organized, (bad quality) and people don't bother clicking your link, or you're not promoting it right.

Make sure you have a nice attractive profile pic, clean attention grabbing bio, use some colorful emojis, but don't overdo it.
Nice quality posts with good captions.

The Bio Makes A Big Difference? I dont have any emojis and it just has my website and asking people to check it out to see some cool stuff.

Should i use funny hashtags also? for cars, i do #lambo #ferrari ect, should i use funny ones or ones that arent used much hoping to get peoples attention? DO hash tags play a big role in anything?

If people approach Instagram as spam posting they won't be successful,

content/content/content/ad is a simple format to follow you have to provide value.

Im not spamming, not every post i make says hey buy this, i may be posting or asking people too much, more than i should but it isnt every post.

SO your format is for every 3 pictures you post you post an ad?

Honestly that seems like spamming

How long did it take for you to get 100 UV with the 1.5 instagram account? did you ever make post asking people to check it out or did people do it on their own?

Are you currenctly making money with instagram?

Agreed. The magazine exame is a great idea. I also like to think of it much like an email list, you need to build trust or no one will buy from you.

I am now funnelling my social traffic to websites and selling it to them later. I'm also grabbing emails which is never a bad idea. You never know when you might wake up and your social accounts are toast.

You shouldn't have to say 'buy this' at all.

By every 3 posts an 'ad' I mean 3 posts around the lifestyle your creating and then the fourth post 'ad' is a picture of your product.

A luxury watch business builds their brand around luxury locations/ beautiful models/ cars etc, there commercial isn't just a watch is it? They establish context around the lifestyle of the product.

100+ UV within two weeks of starting the Instagram account.

Exactly building trust is part of people buying into your 'brand'.

A strictly luxury watch blog would be boring.. Everything this guy is saying is on point. Show some exotic places, hot models, e pensive cars etc.. Then throw in some offers here and there. The point is to not be spammy.

Ok well my page is cars, so i shouldnt just post cars? The product im trying to sell i dont want to give away. Wont people unfollow me if i post locations? exotic stuff? Ect?

No, I was going off his example.

But you can also branch off of cars niche. Movies, fast and furious was a huge franchise, car related clothing, hot models with cars to spice it up, exotic cars, find out what popular rappers drive and review showcase them etc.. This will build your follower base.

Pay someone to design and implement an Instagram strategy,

You have no understanding of the context in how to use the platform.
