Better Alternatives To Youtube Adsense Monetization?

My Youtube channel generates about 10-12k views per month which roughly translates to about twenty dollars through AdSense. I would love to maximize the revenue it generates. Any suggestions or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

1. Should I change over to a different company who would better utilize that traffic and if so, who would you recommend?

2. What should that type of traffic be generating in terms of revenue each month?

3. Any general recommendations?

4. Are there any third party sites/portals that I could be listing my videos through that would garner a decent return and if so, any you might recommend?

How about some affiliate offers in the descriptions of your videos?

Or create a site, monetize the site, and then drive traffic from youtube to your website. You'll have Many more ways to monetize on a website than on youtube.

Okay, then shorten the link with bitly.

Or use your own domain to shorten it.

Or lead the people to a blog first where you pre-sell the product, and then link from the blog post to the offer.

Or lead the people to an email submission "gift." When they give their e-mail, they get this kick ass piece of crap gift, and the next e-mail they receive is your offer/s.
