Great thread! I am starting right now my Kindle empire lol
Hope we can share some info along the way.
Keep it up!
seocrab said:Wow, ambitious goal (3 books a week!). So your plan is to have so many books on Kindle, you're bound to get a sale by default? I hope it works for you. Have you done keyword research into popular book niches or are you just writing about what you know?
Keep it up!
Yup, 3 books per week has been challenging but considering I just graduated and don't have to worry about going to class anymore I got a lot of time on my hands
I am actually sticking mostly to the health and fitness niche, just browsing around to see what books are selling well there. I am considering entering the relationship niche as well.
You're bananas Eagle, I have a hard time writing a 500 word article in a week and you write 3 10,000 word books in a week... <_<
What's your secret?

Best of luck OP for your Kindle Challenge
seocrab said:Ah, ok, it makes sense now! After I finished uni it felt weird not writing 10k words in one sitting. Best of luck!
wow 10k words a day is a lot, I know a lot of authors who make good money from their books cant do that, 5k would be considered a huge amount in a day. congrats
I usually break the free days up in to 2 days etc , just in case the book needs a boost again
We are about to publish our first 70k novel as we have been just doing what you are doing books from 7k to 15k , but we are in it for the long haul as its kinda fun to do and who knows where it could go
getting reviews is a big thing and genuine ones , start a blog get a twitter, grow your audience especially if its fiction as this will help in marketing as followers push your books.
and if your going to be making writing your thing, get to know other authors, as lots will often feature your book on their blog which helps in sales "the hardest thing is letting the world know your book is there, it a big pool"
just to wet the appetite
I know plenty of authors that are making anywhere from $20 to 10k a month and the 10ks are your middle of the road not best sellers , its all about hitting on the write big thing , so here's, hoping best of luck will be following and may hit you up on adsense advice
I'll follow this journey, I've always been interested in this method. Good luck!
What are your methods to promote your new books?
I read about facebook and contacting other authors, but this seems to be just the tip of the iceberg.
If you want to exchange some promotion ideas PM me.
Oh, and good job with the sales!
