This looks quite interesting, I had personally never tries building email lists. This kind of thing cannot work that great with traffic from my country. I hope you succeed in getting quality traffic (and then leads) through your website.

I just wanted to make an update on the progress so far.
I have spent about $1k on freelancer so far. I have been working with a decent SEO guy (he knows his stuff). He's both writing and ranking 30 articles with his own team. So far, I've spent about $500 on him.
Also, I found a kickass writer! I went through about 3, until I found a girl in India who is reaaally damn good. She knows her stuff when it comes to finance - and her articles are written great - making a dry topic a lot better. Once I've had her write a bit more, I will be ordering some links from Leith on BHW. **that's about another $500 on articles so far**
All in all, I will have about 60-70 articles on the site in the next 2 weeks. All the terms I am using for the articles have a "very easy" or "easy" rating in UMF (with only a couple exceptions).
You're all probably wondering how the traffic is doing? Well, I'm getting around 10-50 people visiting my site per day. I get 40-50 when I post on an older finance facebook group that I made. Organically, I'm only getting a few per day.
My next move is to start getting a bit more agressive with the pace of this blog. I'll let you all know how I follow up.
