I'm doing some keyword research and i'm unsure what keyword to pick.
For the sake of the argument lets say the two keyword phrases i'm looking at are "run for fun" and "fun running outdoors"
The first keyword "run for fun" has a Global Monthly search of 110,000 but only 5,400 for Local Monthly searches.
The second keyword "fun running outdoors" has Global of only 22,200 but has 8,400 for Local.
Typing in "run for fun" into google search i get a lot of big name sites, eg. amazon. So it might be tough to rank in the top 10.
Typing in "fun running outdoors" i see a bunch of lesser web 2.0 sites like reddit.
I think in the course of writing this i sort of answered my own question, but what would you guys pick?
It seems like the second choice would be a lot easier to rank.
