global monthly searches

I'm doing some keyword research and i'm unsure what keyword to pick. For the sake of the argument lets say the two keyword phrases i'm looking at are "run for fun" and "fun running outdoors" The first keyword "run for fun" has a Global Monthly search of 110,000 but only 5,400 for Local...
