Google is truly messed up. The results that it returns are shambolic. It is now showing a site with absoloutely no content (literally zero content, just the root directory) as the number one result for a keyword like 'earn online'. Absolutely ridiculous. Your take on this, have you come across any such stupidity by google in your niche?

Log out of google and try again , clear cache , site pref and all and then tell us the picture .

yes my site did the same thing pop-up number 3 (wikipedia #1)
no SEO done never
for 300# exact searches
we getting orders like crazy but guess it only temporary
am start think it happen to very high competitive niches where every one fight like crazy

Already did it.. Cleared cache, cookies and history.. logged out and tried the same search term.. and the results are same.. however I retain top ranking for the keyword 'earn online money' I tried using other US proxies as well.

I hope it is temporary and I get back the ranking.. this site moved out of top 10 for the keyword 'make money online' in US but continuing to rank in other countries after the recent update.. which is understandable.. but ranking a non existent site is ridiculous

That's complete bullshit. This has been the worst update to date.

Yes.. Some of my authority sites got beaten (not so badly) but my social network links for the same site is ranking higher than my site.. and there are instances where my xrumer blast links are ranking in the first page.. If Google says that they are working to improve 'user experience' then they are obviously joking.

It might be your cache. Check your rankings in incognito window.

I checked after clearning the cache and cookies. I even tried proxies.. and I think incognito mode is only to prevent the history and cookies being saved.

err.. checking from my end on google.com for 'earn online' gives totally different results. your site ranks #31.

If this is Google attempt at the new "overly SEO update" then it's clearly not working. That being said I have noticed an increase of partial match domains ranking on the first page of Google. I'm guessing Google's still working on this update and is going to take some time to settle in.

It is very strange and one thing is I still get 40 visits a day from the search term 'earn online'.. but it has come down drastically from the highs.. however there is no change in the traffic coming from the keyword 'earn online money'. I wonder if google gives different results for different cities with in the US. I can see my site at position number 9 when searched with a Dallas IP.

I completely agree with your partial match domain concept.. I have a couple of partial match domains and they are doing extremely well over the last couple of days after the update.

I get totally different results than the image above when I search for those kws?

cleared cache, deleted files etc. but get the same when i view co.uk???
