One way is to test it. Compare it's output from a given stimulus, to what your own AI would have used to respond. The more similar your AI is to the output you are testing, the more likely the tested output is also AI. The skillful meme warrior weaves a thread between infinite if/then rules that will track 100% with the human mind, but the AI will get a severe case of liquid diarrhea. Again comparing their diarrhea to your own might be useful for certain reasons, but for the purpose of identifying what is, and what is not, AI, is the primary question here. There's a million dark roads ahead of you past this point, Mr. Luke Skywalker, and none of them go anywhere close to where you want to go. I remember my ancestors, and their dreams.

If you're just prompting, generating an article, and publishing it in under five minutes—of course! I've been doing AI content since the GPT-3.5 era, and my rankings have only improved, weathering every algorithm update. The key is to review and rephrase parts of the content. As long as it makes sense to readers, why not?

I'm not sure this is true. First your statement assumes there is a single standard for "real value" and "expertise", and other words might include "quality" content. All of these words are highly subjective, and user-specific. Meaning that, what you and I might agree is "good", and whatever else is "bad", other Users might disagree. They might prefer (for example) AI content, and NOT like "real", or "quality", or whatever word you and I might agree on.

Example: One day I take my friend's tablet and tried to use it. It's 100% complete fucking garbage. Constant ads, and the ads are complete trash. All of it is AI, and all seem to have a common theme: "Racist White person does something bad, and then gets beat up by outraged mob of non-Whites". And, worst of all, it's all AI. Essentially, it's all fictional stories using AI to create the illusion of something visual to look at. Complete trash. Garbage. I can't pile enough shit on top of this garbage content, nor can I get it deep enough.

Here's the thing. My friend, the owner of the tablet, is stupid. Really, diagnosably, probably borderline retarded. He MIGHT have an IQ of 90. And Google, through it's magic algorithm and it's marketing analysis, has made the decision to deliver THAT trash to my retarded friend. For whatever reason. Google is the expert, and I am not. But I can recognize that this garbage content being delivered to my retarded friend is NOT an accident. So, I don't believe there is a single, hard and fast rule about "AI" content. I think that certain demographics will reject it, and need something that we would call "quality"; while I think that other demographics do not notice or care that the content is AI generated trash. They like it, watch it, remain engaged in it and occasionally they convert into someone's sales, which is the name of the game here.
