Yes really works for churn and burns. Business really important role are the backlinks profile + clear history in past.
Nowadays, Google doesn’t give as much importance to old or high-DR domains as it used to. it is more focusing on content quality, user experience, and relevance.
If you talk about, buying a high-DR domain important or not?
According to me, a high-DR domain can give you a boost, but it’s not a magic trick. If the backlinks are solid and relevant, it can help, but content and SEO still matter most.

It's not so much the DR score but rather the quality and type of links it has and how closely related it is to your own niche.
DR can be easily faked and expired domains aren't immune to that.
If you can get a good expired domain in your niche that has good number of high quality links and the domain has a history of ranking, if it's still indexed and has some keywords ranking, it's perfect.

While domain history and DR matter, content quality and relevance ultimately have a bigger impact on SEO success.

I have good experience with premium one word keyword and expired domains. I buy domains via Sedo.com and register expired domains via expireddomains.net and grow traffic and backlinks.
I dont know why not more peoples invest in a good domain and expired domains. For me its all the time a big booster and much easier to start a new project.

Same experience here. Brand new exact match domains even on a funny TLD can work very well today from day 1.

Of course they still work. Make sure they have links from an authority, easiest way is to crawl the authority sites in your niche and pick the best of what is found, and make sure the content history of the site is clean.
You can largely ignore DA, metrics like that are quite easily manipulated. If you are buying domains at auction then the DA will only be used to inflate the cost. Make sure the domain has some good links in your niche rather than an inflated 3rd party metric, like DA.

I think they work. Just don't look at DA, DR, TF, CF, they are easy to cheat. Look at the domain's backlinks manually, otherwise you won't understand whether it's worth buying. And look at the traffic history, and what was on the domain before you. Most often, there could be casinos there)

Expired domain can continue works but its performance depends on factor like prior SEO value and backlink.
