Indexing Issue After Google August Update

I created a website in Feb 2024 and it was ranking well up till august update. 80 out of 140 pages were indexed and ranking well. I created no backlinks.
But during August core update the whole site is de-indexed and only home page is indexed now. There are no penalities in google search console.

Only now I created few backlinks. But still the pages are not indexing.
Please tell what can be reason for this de-indexing? Any help is appreciated.

Also, please tell what next can be done-
1. Create more backlinks and wait?
2. Move website to new domain or something like 301 redirect?

Don't do anything sudden ranking drops after Updates does not mean panelity you should just wait before update finished.
Note: This August Update is the longest waited updated till now

recovering from a de-indexing can take time. Patience and persistence are key. wait few days more.

Have you used AI tools to create the articles? If yes, you can try rewriting some of the articles and build links to them. If see any positive impact, keep doing the same and add more high quality manually written articles with proper on page optimization. If you are still not able to rank, move to the new website.

The Major focus of the Core recent Update is to deliver relevant and authentic Searches to the Users, If you are Used to AI articles, Maybe that's the reason to drop in your ranking, so you concentrate on the writing part to rewrite the article and update it again,

As your words, You didn't receive any alert or Manual penalties on your GSC, So It's a clear sign still have a chance to back again into the situation.

Hi, Thanks for the reply. I have not created AI articles.

I have few pages in different language targetting different countries. Can this be the reason for de-indexing? I have read some review on reddit related to this.

Please clarify - Moving on new website means buying new domain and pointing this website to that domain?? Also, should I move website to new server to change IP? (Apologies, if this this is basic question, I am not much expert).

Thanks for reply. I have not created AI articles. My website is more related to selling products. My website has more common content (not duplicate) between pages. But each page is selling something unique.

Its becasue of content quality, relevance, or algorithmic changes affecting how Google evaluates your site. Focus on improving content quality and building some relevant backlinks.

Just wait a week or two man and it will probably return to normal.
