Do you have any plans to counter the incoming depression which will probably be global? I'd imagine that people will stop buying things they won't need, but also that all sorts of guides on how to do things will do better, especially if it is in niches (perhaps combined with language) that are not too crowded yet.

I spent 3 nights in the South Western part of Istanbul going back to Asia in January, really enjoyed the people, food and Oscar the hotel guard dog

Would like to find a quiet, very low budget place to stay in Turkey now and then, it seems to be a good way of getting in & out of Scandinavia now. I'm done doing long, planned flights, traveling in improvised hops is my strategy now...

Thank you very much for your comment. Yes, I agree with your opinions. However, reading books is not a very expensive hobby, so I do not think it will have a negative impact on me. Nevertheless, as a precaution, I am researching a variety of different book topics. Some book topics have become necessary.

Additionally, I am targeting rich (luxury niche) visitors in my travel blog. Consequently, we know that rich people hardly lose money during times of crisis. The prices of books or e-books are not significant even if there is a crisis because they are equivalent to the minimum wage of people who work for at most 2-3 hours in America or Europe.

If you are referring to a psychological depression, I have not conducted enough research on this topic. However, I have done some research on finance and psychology. In order for me to express an opinion on this issue, I would need to conduct more detailed research on these topics.

I also think Istanbul is a beautiful city, and I am glad that you like it too. I would also recommend traveling to Izmir, Eskisehir and Antalya.

I too have just started publishing on KDP, but books of low content (even without content). I would try advertising on KDP. I would like it if someone would give another suggestion for the promotion of KDP books with low content without using Facebook, Pinterest, In, and the like, which is already widely known.
It is not clear to me how I could create a site and post my low-content books there. I have not been able to find any examples, and I would like to see them.

If you want to advertise on Amazon KDP, I recommend taking their online courses on the subject. Also, I don't recommend making low-content books or notebooks because it will require a lot of effort to sell them. (If you are producing low-content books with high-quality covers, then disregard my previous comment. Quality is very important.)

I am trying to publish some of my e-books on my own website using Wordpress. I don't have any information on how to directly sell (shipping etc.) your low-content books from your website.

excellent contribution, i was wondering how long it took for your sales to increase since the first upload, was this amount necessary since you produced nearly 500 books?... and if i'm following correctly: you combine affiliate links with descriptions in your YouTube videos. seems worth looking into, thanks for the info

Thanks. I created my KDP account in March 2022 and started producing books/notebooks. In April 2022, I made my first sale.

500 books were definitely not necessary. This was my mistake. I thought that the more books I produced, the more my sales would increase. However, because of this, the quality of my books was not good. I had to remove some from publication because even I didn't like some of the books/notebooks I produced myself.

I use Facebook and YouTube for affiliate marketing, but currently I mostly use Facebook.

How do you use Facebook? I'm currently trying to build a network of accounts for my own needs, many get blocked but it seems that Vietnamese accounts can get running with organic friends adding themselves ;-)

Have you tried paying for views at all? My thinking is that by building my own, organic traffic across well separated accounts I can then "mix in" some paid boosts hopefully without being nuked.

This type of traffic might not get too many conversions/sales of course, but then again one could publish books targeted towards the countries where it seems that at least Facebook lets anything fly, like Vietnam

I usually join groups with few members (5000-10000) and share my affiliate marketing and books promotions there. Usually, the admins check and accept them for free. However, it is very difficult to get approved from very large groups, so I haven't tried that.
