Journey to $1500/Month With KDP, Apple iBooks and more Before 31 March 2024

Thank you for the information. How do you do competitor analysis and keyword research, if you use an additional application, what is it?
How do you find niches where demand is high and competition is low?
I use amazon.com for competitor research. In fact, you can find all the details with amazon's site. Competition, topics, etc. You can also use google. All existing amazon kdp keyword search programs use data from google. As far as I know, amazon does not share its data publicly. Maybe you can find some results with google trends but I haven't used it for now.

Hi, thanks. If you send an email to Amazon kdp, they will help you with this. I saved my money there before I started my company and then when I started my company I emailed them again and got it all. I don't use payoneer, I use wise business.

I don't know what kind of guidance you need. If you have some simple questions, you can write them here so that everyone can see them. But I don't have a general guide on this, I'm a beginner too.
Which of the USD or EUR bank account details do you use as a virtual bank account on TransferWise (Wise)? Also do you think quantity is more important than quality?

I have both EUR and USD account. I use USD, there is no difference in commission for Wise. Quality is always more important.

Any update?
I'm currently far from my goal, unfortunately. So far this month, I have earned about 250 dollars from the work I have done. (amazon+creative fabrica+affiliate). Nevertheless, I won't give up. I will continue until I reach my goal.

However, some positive things also happened. I won a cryptocurrency competition this month and received 180 dollars from it. That's all I can say briefly. I will write a detailed report in the first week of next month.

I will publish a detailed update within 1-2 days.

UPDATE 2 (07.03.2023)

I don't have anything too important at the moment, but I was thinking of posting a brief update.

This month, I uploaded 18 products to Creative Fabrica. I haven't earned any money from it yet. However, from what I have read, the dashboard is updated monthly. Therefore, I will have to wait for the next month to see any earnings.

I had an old Etsy account for digital download and I started to revise and reactivate it, but it's not finished yet.

I continue to create and upload a book to Amazon every three days.

I haven't started writing any content / book about Apple iBooks yet. I want to write higher-quality books for Apple iBooks, so I don't want to upload the books I uploaded to Amazon KDP there.

Total KDP earnings until the seventh of this month: $56
Extra earnings until the seventh of this month (such as affiliate marketing, etc.): $12.4

In addition, I will create a table from now on to make it easier to understand: (until the seventh of this month)

If you have questions, comments or suggestions, you can write. I will read and answer them.

UPDATE 3 (01.04.2023)

I didn't have time to prepare a book for iBooks this month. Other than that, I have finished my website for sales and now I will start uploading products. Also, I am continuing to create books for Amazon; each of my Amazon books is 87 pages long and they are no longer low-content books.

I initially used YouTube to promote my books, but it did not work out for me. Later on, I switched to Facebook and it proved to be much more effective.

Another update is that I participated in a cryptocurrency competition, and I wasn't expecting to win, but I think the competition wasn't very popular, so I won. This is not a regular income, but it will still be helpful for me at the moment ($180).

I also uploaded 35 products to Creative Fabrica and started seeing my first earnings from there. I believe that next month's earnings will be even higher.

I made a sale on Etsy this month and earned $15.

I couldn't reach my goal of $25 in affiliate earnings. This month, I earned $20.49.
I couldn't reach my Amazon KDP goal of $375 this month. I earned $323.28.

Lastly, I created a niche travel blog with a friend from high school. It's still very new as we just created it three days ago. I'm hoping to generate some earnings from this as well, but I know it will take time. We spent a total of 10 dollars to create a blog and purchased the domain, then moved it to Blogger. As a result, it was quite cheap. I purchased a ''net'' domain for 2 years using Google Domains.

I am considering using Travelpayouts for affiliate marketing for my travel blog.

Summing up, I'm still far from my goals, but I was just lucky this month.

In addition, I will create a table from now on to make it easier to understand: (March)

The total earnings for this month are $543. However, considering the websites that provide continuous income, it seems to be $363. Therefore, I will keep my goal for April at $410. I will write down the additional incomes, but I won't include them in the goal.

Monthly Goals for April 2023
  • I will continue to upload books to the website that I set up for book sales.
  • Create and upload 15 books for Amazon KDP.
  • I should reach the goal of $410 this month.
  • I should publish a book on the Apple iBooks.
  • I will upload 30 products to Creative Fabrica.

Good luck mate.

Amazon KDP is a nice way to make passive income online.

Free Tip: Scale up by publishing your Books on : Draft2Digital or Lulu and thank me later!

Good luck! What niche can you share to us?

All the best for the journey.
Thanks.

Is Lulu popular in America? I don't know this. Could you please provide detailed information? Thanks

Thanks. I can't write you a specific niche name, but don't do things that everyone is already doing. For example, if there are more than 3000 books written on a certain topic, and you decide to write a book on that same topic, it will be very difficult to sell your book. Also, do not focus on the quantity of books you create. Focus on quality. I made this mistake when I started out. The quality of the content and cover design are much more important factors.

Your main goal is to choose a subject with few existing books and high sales potential.

I wrote it wrong in the beginning. My recent books are not low-quality content. However, my old low-quality content books are still uploaded. The recent books I have created are usually between 85 and 100 pages. The latest one I made was 87 pages. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello, I am following your thread. I hope you achieve what you want.

Are the books you add only books with little content? (Coloring books, calendar, notebook, etc.)

Thanks. I used to produce low-quality books in the beginning. However, now I produce very few of them because there is a lot of competition.

This is still great! I'm waiting to see how it goes as you've already planned everything. It's a good way not to put all your eggs in the same basket.
Something else here, you mentioned that your new books are no longer low content, does that mean you've transitioned to high content? More specifically, have you started writing/publishing your own books?
I see you have some selling on Etsy. Did you use your Wise account to get paid or directly link your bank account?

Better luck next time!

Thank you very much for your comments. Yes, I write the books myself and use simple language. I will try to develop this process.

Normally, you can receive payments on Etsy through Payoneer, Wise, or a bank account. I chose this option (bank account - TRY) because Etsy makes payments directly to Turkish banks. I know that payments can also be received through other options, but I don't have an idea about how to set them up. Additionally, if you receive payments through Wise or Payoneer, you may lose your eligibility for certain tax benefits (discounts), so you should examine these details. I don't have very detailed information about this, and I don't want to provide incorrect or incomplete information. You can reach out to Etsy support via Facebook and ask about this in detail.

Of course, I use Canva Pro. In fact, I use Canva Pro for all of my books. Their support team is always helpful.

Is every step yours when creating high content books, do you use chatgpt to do some of the work?

I'm not using ChatGBT to write the content of the book. I talked about chatgbt with Amazon kdp support team. They didn't give me a definite answer. Since there are no rules regarding artificial intelligence yet, I didn't want to take any risks. If a definite rule emerges, then I can use it. Sometimes I use ChatGBT to write descriptions of the book or to find a book name. So it's up to you to use it or not.
