That could be a workaround. Hope it works too when I load a urllist in harvester. Its some work and I would appreciate a more comfortable solution but I will test it.

It's actually far less work than doing the whole "Select URL Lists to Compare" thing.

Click Trim to Root
Click Export and Merge to Existing list

Then just select your Blacklist.txt to merge it to, so that's what 2-5 clicks depending if the URL's are already in the harvester or you have to import them. Not sure how that could be made less work.

Anything in the Blacklist:

Will not be harvested when scraping URL's
Will not be commented to in the commenter

Also Yahoo's backlink operator is linkdomain:

Hello,
Can any one help me out to get some good settings and make this software work for me. I am not getting any good result. Please share the ways to set this software rock. I know it works for all, I do not know why it is not working for me. I tried many things, still it messes me up completely. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks...

I have a question about ping mode.

When I tried to use ping mode, I got a lot of visits. I checked host Statistics and it saw a lot of visits and a lot of Referrers. But I checked google analytics , it was not see new visits and new referrer sites.

So my question : why google analytics did not show new visits ? ping mode cannot fake this?

thanks!

I think ping is usuauly not noted in GA. Kind of fake traffic
GA takes only after 30 secs of activity

Sorry if I am wrong

The Accurate Mode and Manual Mode are identical, they have the same form detection, same form filling, same proxy handling everything. The only difference is Manual Mode you click the button instead of ScrapeBox, and if ScrapeBox wasn't clicking the button properly it wouldn't say success or fail it would sit on the page until it timed out.

So not sure what's up with that, maybe your domains were blocked. BlogEngine has changed a lot.

Note the bold:

Yes it's now has moderation, Askimet, Stopforumspam and other things. If people are having problems with it crashing, not commenting and can't get links with it via the old comment method, the new comment method and the manual mode then it may just be time to remove it because that's 3 options and there's not a fourth.

In Manual Mode with BlogEngine sites I see that the name, email, url are pre filled for me but the comment box is blank - not pre filled with my comment or a spun version of it - is this how Scrapebox v1.12.3 works? If I use a different set of Wordpress Harvested urls then the comment box is pre filled in Wordpress Manual Mode.

I have again tried the BlogEngine Accurate mode with a new set of Harvested BlogEngine sites targeting a set of url which have not been commented upon. Scrapebox reports a good success level but a physical visit to each site shows that the comments are not there although there are many other recent comments from other posters. I have also checked and these blogs are old BlogEngine versions not the latest version.

So in summary my point is that Scrapebox v1.12.3 harvests BlogEngine sites well, it advises that it has posted to most but when I look the comments are not there and these cannot all be moderated sites.

Does anyone else experience this and if not do you think I have got an obvious setting wrong?

The way to solve this "comment not pre-filled" mystery would be to contact support with the url(s) in question.

I will but your response only mentions one of the issues so for clarity...
- there may be an issue in BlogEngine Accurate mode reporting success when it has not been able to post on non-moderated BlogEngine blogs
- if this is true the root cause may relate to the fact that for BlogEngine manual posting the comments textarea is not pre filled on my vista laptop although the other fields are.

This works across all BlogEngine urls with each test I do.

Last night I did my first run with ScrapeBox. Public proxies worked well enough for scraping, but I might need to get some privates.

My biggest issue is with the spin syntax. I am a crazy spinner. I like to have lots of nested curly brackets, options for empty words, etc, and it simply doesn't work in SB.

Code:
{{This|Here's} is an {|excellent }example of what I'm talking about.|If you need an {|easy }example, this is one.}

My solution is to use basic syntax or put it into power article rewriter and blast out a ton of different comments and just separate those.

It's not as important as the other issues, but a better spin engine couldn't hurt.

Thanks! Looking forward to my next little blast right now. Starting small.

@sweetfunny: when you remove duplicate domains it should save the urls with the better PR(for each single domain)....but i have tried this and it seems to remove those urls randomly.
i think you should implement this in future versions....

You have to check the PR first.

If i pay today rather now using my debit card(do they accept it??) when can i expect to be able to get a working piece of the software??

The developer is pretty quick on turning around activations. Usually a matter of hours at most.

Just be sure to follow the instructions during the payment process, there's an activation code you send in. The instructions are simple, but I've seen where some people don't follow them.

It could be interesting to keep the url with the smallest amount of external links. Especially when the pr is the same. Mostly the spammed pages are the same so often pages are spammed where hundred of comments are already on. This should give less linkjuice.

Thanks for clearing. I meant its work because you dont have only one website. So having spammed one website you would block the domain to not spam this domain with the same comment again and being found as a spammer.
But if you want to promote the next of your domains you have to delete the blacklistfile. Or the urls from the old project.

The ideal solution looks to me a "Select URL Lists to Compare" for domainlevel. So the urls in harvester are matched against the urls in the file(s) and where the domains are matching this domain is deleted.

Some Questions for slow poster accurate mode + decaptcher + yourprivateproxy:

if i go to slow poster accurate mode should i have the loading of images on for decapcther?

if i use my proxies in the slow commenter, scrapebox asked me login + pass for my proxies but i have entered them with the format IP:PORT:USER:Pass at the start, why did scrapebox asked it again?
