The best software developer at a reasonable prize and you want the moon? Please ask nicely, for reading the thread you will get what i mean. No need to send five request for minor issues.

The software is Amazing, The updates just Awesome, and over 99.9% customer happiness ratio.

I just sent every crash report the program generated. You call crashing while submitting a "minor" issue?

I wrote files for every successful and unsuccessful runs so I have lists with urls where my link are posted to.
Now I wont post to that links again. Is there a way to maybe scrape new urls and then take the lists with the urls where I already successfully posted to and delete all this urls or better domains from my new scraped urls? I wont post too many comments at the same domain.
--------------------
What does Import URL List - Select the URL List to compare does? I didnt found what it does. It states it didnt delete something but I dont know what it does.
--------------------
Is the alive checker working right? I used no proxy to check 1222 BE-Blogs. I got 370 alive ones. I rechecked and got 570 ones. Recheck 803. 906. 960. 992. 1008...
I always use high timeouts. Am I doing something wrong or is there an error?

Select URL list to compare is for if you have a list of harvested URL's and you want to remove any matches from a previously-saved list of URL's.

Say for example you harvest a set of keywords on Monday and save the list. Then if you harvest the same keywords on Friday but only want to target newly-found URL's, you could pick the Monday list to compare to and it will remove any matches from the Friday list.

There is a small bug in the IP Test in the Proxy Module.

A specific proxy that sends an X-forwarded for header, passes the test. Obviously though, it leaks the ip. ;) I checked it with online tools and saw the header.

If you want, I can sent you the ip of the proxy I tested by PM.

Thanks!

So that means when I harvest a lot of blog urls and then use this option by using the list of successful posts the successful posts are deleted from my freshly scraped list?
Is this also possible on domainlevel? Because when a blogowner is getting the same message again and again only on different blogentries the probability is high that he blocks this messages.

Yes, if you save your success list, then harvest another list and select URL's to compare where the success list is the selected to compare, it would remove any matches.

Pretty sure the select to compare does it at the URL level. But what you could do is harvest URL's, then merge in your success list and pick remove duplicate domains. I think that would give you what you are after.

But that would mean the same domain could get another entry. Which would look obvious to the webmaster. And when first delete duplicate urls from the newly scraped list you cant be sure that the url that is kept is the same that is in the successlist. So it could be that there is another blogentry in the successlist which would mean the webmaster sees again the very same comment.
Maybe a small problem but I think staying under the radar is better.

The new v 1.12.3 Slow Commenter Accurate Mode appears to have a high completion rate but I am not certain that the comments are actually being posted and accepted by unmoderated Blogengine blogs.

As a test I rebooted my router to get a new IP address and used this connection rather than a proxy. (I have a high speed DSL line).

I searched on a new, common term and harvested a number of Blogengine blogs. Then used the alive checker to purge dead links. Also purged duplicate url's.

Set up a simple comment with a few spin variations, multiple names and email address. Viewed the comments in the comment tester an all variants looked good.

Started posting to Blogengine type with the Comment Poster using the Slow Commenter Accurate Mode - got a 90% success score with 10 test blogs.

But... when then going to these blogs I could not see my link although there are many recent comments on these blogs from other visitors.

As a final test I then used the manual option to post a comment - this worked and the new comment could be seen and also on page reload, but the automated comments were nowhere.

Is Scrapebox reporting a success on these Blogengine posts whereas something is not completing the post?

I think there's some confusion here. Maybe when Greg said "remove duplicate domains" he meant that ALL urls with the same thisdomain.com/ will be gone. So there are no more entries.

So:

thisdomain.com/some-post-here
thisdomain.com/another-post-here
thisdomain.com/yet-another-post-here

[...] would all be gone because you removed duplicate domains (not duplicate URLs). Removing duplicate URLs would remove this:

thisdomain.com/some-post-here
thisdomain.com/some-post-here
thisdomain.com/some-post-here
thisdomain.com/some-post-here

Is this what you were posting about?

what footprint should i use to harvest all the inbound edu and gov backlinks of a specific domain (using scrapebox)?

Hi Sweetfunny,

Thing is i do everything online with epassporte and i know from the past PP doesnt accept Epassporte virtual visa.

Can i pay to you directly trough Epassporte? If so hook me up please trough a PM ;)

I just sent every crash report the program generated. You call crashing while submitting a "minor" issue?

Depends on the cause, if it's only happening to a single user, caused by loading corrupt files, trying to comment to specific URL's like this one that bring 10+ yo browsers to their knees, your security denying writes to the SB ini file and so on then yeah it's a minor issue.

There is a small bug in the IP Test in the Proxy Module.

X-Forwarded used to be blocked, people complained they couldn't get enough free proxies because obviously keeping only Elite would mean there's close to none left.

As someone mentioned before, X-Forward does not get passed to blog dashboards, the only thing that shows is the proxy IP not yours. So sure the proxy checker can be changed, but no doubt that would kill the free proxies.

If you want to block domains at the root level, then trim your list to root and save the file out as Blacklist.txt in your blacklist folder.

As a final test I then used the manual option to post a comment - this worked and the new comment could be seen and also on page reload, but the automated comments were nowhere.

The Accurate Mode and Manual Mode are identical, they have the same form detection, same form filling, same proxy handling everything. The only difference is Manual Mode you click the button instead of ScrapeBox, and if ScrapeBox wasn't clicking the button properly it wouldn't say success or fail it would sit on the page until it timed out.

So not sure what's up with that, maybe your domains were blocked. BlogEngine has changed a lot.

Note the bold:
BlogEngine.NET 1.6 is Released - February 1, 2010 01:56
For those who receive a steady dose of comment spam (and who doesn't!), a new powerful Comment Management and Comment Spam Filtering infrastruture has been added in version 1.6. Comments across all posts can be viewed, edited, deleted or approved in one convenient area. Comments can still be manually moderated, but now moderation can be automated by running comments thru remote or local comment spam validation services.

Yes it's now has moderation, Askimet, Stopforumspam and other things. If people are having problems with it crashing, not commenting and can't get links with it via the old comment method, the new comment method and the manual mode then it may just be time to remove it because that's 3 options and there's not a fourth.

So what am I doing wrong? The tool should be able to just skips those blogs instead of crashing as I can't check every harvested URL by myself...

Is this what you were posting about?

That are the entries "Remove Duplicate" - "URL" and "Remove Duplicate" - "Domain" and they do what you said.
But there is another point at "Import URL List" - "URL List to compare". And as far as I understood this entry is working this way:
If in the Harvested-URL-Window are urls you can use this entry. You can choose a file with URLs. Or more than one. If you do so you the urls in the file(s) are checked against the one in harvester. And if one url (not domain only) is the same its deleted from harvesterlist.

That way I hope to prevent posting more than once to the same domain with the same comment because that is obvious to webmasters and probably deleted as spam.

But this would only delete urls that are the same. So it could happen that the harvester find a url that isnt in the file but both urls are on the same domain.

Damn that's actually a pretty good success rate for the free proxies. Nice.

If you're set on buying some PB proxies, I'd suggest that 30 IP package. You might end up having to add bandwidth to the 10GB (or not - just add in the free proxies when you're commenting if you hit your monthly quota), personally I like having a lot of IP's available.

peace,
gregs.

I dont understand the thing with this offer:

Code:
http://proxybonanza.com/signup/special_offer

It says 30 IPs, 10GB for 14USD.

And whats special there?

Here:

Code:
http://proxybonanza.com/signup/shared_proxy

it says 68 IPs, 10GB for 16,99USD

And I think they are all shared proxies... So I dont see wheres the special in that offer.

Interesting idea - I _think_ the default in WP is to moderate the first comment by a given commenter, but then subsequent comments by the same author get auto approved. So, the concept of commenting without backlinks intentionally, then commenting a few days later to the same sites with backlinks...hmmmm, might be worth a spin....

I think it should be possible the way that you dont need to post again on the same blogs. If you manage to get your comment without url being accepted by akismet or webmasters, maybe 10 or 20 times then akismet is trained.
So posting again on the same blog should be the same like posting on any other akismetblog. Because akismet maybe would decide that its not spam.

If you want to block domains at the root level, then trim your list to root and save the file out as Blacklist.txt in your blacklist folder.

That could be a workaround. Hope it works too when I load a urllist in harvester. Its some work and I would appreciate a more comfortable solution but I will test it.

2 other Questions:

Why is the Harvester only working with 4 connections? I use google, aol, bing and yahoo and only 4 connections are run at the same time. Which is needless because I use proxies. So it should be possible to ask google more than once at one moment because google see different sources for this request.

Wouldnt it be possible to implement testroutines in SB to check if a certain url or a planned comment is banned in akismet? It should be possible by setting up a blog with akismet and autoapprove. Maybe even not indexed in searchengines. Then testing the comment and if its not published its blocked. Looks like a interesting service to me.

And the other request someone said here for variables would be fine. I saw blogcomments that seems to be automatic but told the name of the blogentry and so on. So it would be fine to have vars for the own used username or the domainname of the blog, blogentrytitle or like one said the name of another commenter you can answer to this way. That would greatly help to interact and look legit in my opinion.

I googled some minutes and tried a lot. Heres my solution:

link:blackhatworld.com site:.gov

But note that google dont give back all backlinks with link: I dont know how to get every backlink, dont know what codes yahoo is using and if Sweetfunny built in an interpreter that uses link: at google and the matching code for other search engines...
