[Journey] Learning SEO while building an Authority Site | Amazon + Adsense

Hello,

As the title says,

I will try to build an authority site. My first site ever. I know nothing about SEO. I will learn by doing.
My main goal is to learn, money will come as a consequence if I can do things right.
But when we want to learn something it's because we have some kind of goal in mind, else we wouldn't have the need to do or want to learn anything.

So, my end goal is to hit 300$/month, which is half of my country's average salary.


Things I already did:
Read a bunch of SEO threads.
Created an account and subscribed to 7-day FREE trial on ubersuggest. I now have 7 days to get as many keywords and research as many domains as I can.
Got a brand new domain free for 1 year. Got hosting at KoalaHost for 2.60$/month.
Installed SSL certificate from "SSL for free".
Installed WordPress.
Chose WordPress theme.
Got myself a Logo. It's not the best but I'm not gonna spend money on it for now.


To-Do Next:
Now I'll learn about Site Structure. Learn about what SILOing is and see if it is worth it.


I will update the thread when I feel like I have something interesting to post.
I hope to not quit.

Update:

Hello guys,
I've been working very slowly, but I've been working. And that's what's important.

WHAT I DID:

• Wrote 2 articles. One with 1789 words and another with 2920. Got the green light on RankMath for both articles. I'm actually happy about this.
• Uploaded the 2 articles.
• Customized the site a bit. I still don't like it. I have to change it. It's a nightmare to build a nice homepage.
• Configured Google analytics and Google search console.

Google indexed my homepage and a few pages but not my articles. I guess it will take some time.

TO-DO NEXT:

• Write more articles, of course.
• Make the privacy policy, terms and conditions, contact, about us, etc.
• Get some plugin for the cookies.
• Write the affiliate disclaimer in the footer. Making a nice footer it's also a nightmare. Is there any way to customize the footer easily with the GeneratePress theme?

UPDATE AFTER A WHILE:

Hello again,

I didn't touch on the site for a few months. The site has only 4 articles.
I came to check how the stats were going and I noticed 1 of the articles ranked up really well and it started to make money. The conversion rate is very low, tho.
To be honest, I wasn't expecting to move forward with this, but since this is making money with only 4 articles and a terrible design I might keep posting.
