Will I get penalized for copy-pasting Amazon Product Descriptions?

I thought it was creative writing. Writing about how the product will improve the life of the buyer would suffice I believe.

I meant Specs like these as a sample:

• Power: 20V
• Battery: Lithium-ion
• Battery & Charger included: Yes
• Bar size: 10 inches
• Weight: 7.2 lbs.
• Dimensions: 16.7 x 8.8 x 9.6 inches
• Warranty: 2 years

How do I rewrite this when this is pure technical writing?

I didn't mean the 'Description' - I always re-write that for uniqueness. But I don't know what to do with that spec bullet list- though @Word Wizard said it's alright

I also copy paste these myself on my Amazon authority blog. I think it's alright to do that. I thought you were talking about the description. Hope that helps!

These shot listicles are fine
Just try to glamourize them in your way
Other affiliate sites do the same but swap few lines for longer specs

Just modify it just to be on the safe side. You can rearrange the specs or replace some words with synonyms.

I see more sites copy the product specs from amazon and still goes strong; even I see new sites rank better in SERPs by this practice

However, I don't recommend this, try to make it unique; who knows what Google have in mind next

When Google will compare your site with Amazon, and if Google can find duplicate content, then your website will be penalized for plagiarism and considers Amazon content as original. Try to write fresh content based on your product details. Or you can hire any professional content writing company to write your product description.

Why you wanna change a product specification?. Those are fixed parameters (like weight, size, dimensions ... etc) for individual product that come out from factory.

If you're going to be posting those materials into a blog that is monetized by Amazon affiliate services, your account might get canceled for IP rights violations.

Just based on my experience, if you want the product reviews to make money for you, you need to OPTIMIZE them to set up the reader for a sale... just blind rewriting won't help much.

Battery - 20v
Battery voltage: 20v
Voltage of battery: 20
Battety output in volts: 20

The same kws are there, and every single one of them have been written a million times or more on the Internet.

I'm pretty certain it doesn't matter. But, changing the order is good.

There's nothing wrong with copying the technical specs of products from Amazon (or even manufacturer sites). But, do you really want to be the same as pretty much all the other affiliates out there? I'd personally just expand on the specs a little, change some of the words or make them a lttle longer-prose. And maybe add a few 'it doesn't have this...or do that' types of info too. That makes your site different, and adds a little value too.
