Well they say in this world, the only thing that is constant is change. Expect it. Even if you can't plan for it, have contingency plans. Always have a plan B and even a plan C.

Just look at the havoc Corona has done to so many companies. Out of the blue, carefully crafted and nurtured businesses have collapsed or are close to collapse. So a little of "being in the right place at the right time" which is surely not orchestrated by you, also adds to the mix for the holy grail. Look at ZOOM...I hear it was close to packing up before Corona hit. Now the guy is a billionaire I think, in just a few months. So there is no stopping the constant hustle. If you stop, expect to be out of the game in no time. Only thing you can do is to let your hustle be in an area you enjoy. Then you wouldn't get tired of it..

I didn’t try it yet, but from what I can see, being a YouTuber with about 200k and more real worldwide subscribers is bringing a nice revenue. These successful YouTubers all seems rich and happy.

I've been running saas for a while. I don't think 1 business need to last lifetime, i just picked a niche/skill i like (coding) and just build some stuff and sell it and i'm sure this skill is going no where in 10 years. I just need to adapt and create new tests and products. Same with any other industry/skill i'd think (i'd be worried though if i had a skill that machines can easily do right now).

1 - Start a business in an obscure ultra specific sub niche, you have little understanding of other than cash flow projections

3 - Outsource development
4 - Business collapses due to technical debt + increased competition

In the last 3 years I have tried a lots of shits (from twitter & ig mass account to premium rate numbers and small niche website [all things related to adult content and "beer money" websites). The longest period of time when something worked was about a year, but after that broken up(not mainly because the website stopped the method, but because it makes it too harder to handle).
After all of these, the main goal in my opinion if a "holy grail" that can "heal" itself and has many ramifications in many sites and people. [just like a giant octopus]

I applied this on porn reupload (the old "money making machine") and combined with the ideas that "sex sells" and the "octopus need to heal every time it is hit", I have find out that if you:
1.Upload the niche video, watermarked correctly
2.On the right websites
3.Use many domains and accounts (if something happen to a domain or account, only 1% is lost)

the things can work almost perfectly and the videos stay online forever (this allowing to scale up to huge numbers)
This took me almost one year of trying and fails.
What I want to say is that you need to find your own "Holy grail" in something that you can handle even if the thing became extremely harder (even instagram mass accounts is working if it is done in the correct way, but for me for example it's too hard to handle this type of concept and can't solve it. Maybe there are some people that run it right now, but they maybe can't run porn reupload in the correct way as I did).

I love the question and it hooked me on to read through the posts. Truth is you will never be able to stay in the game *forever* as things constantly change, your energy levels go down, your body and mind cannot keep up with it. It's a cycle where fresh blood replaces old blood.

However, getting your money to work for you - works all the time! Hope you saved enough $$$ from those businesses and invested them in real estate, stocks, other businesses, etc. That always works and many millionaires and billionaires are made over time from right investments. Owning a piece of successful business or businesses with "1-click" cannot be more easier. Investment is the only way to financial freedom!

If you work hard and get lucky, you can penetrate with corporates and large businesses. I personally know a couple of guys who are freelancers, at best, and they work for the likes of JW Marriott! God knows they outsource a lot of their work!
So do you. Find work and outsource if you can't do it like a pro. Or hire talent at best. Pick a niche. Personally speaking, anything is fine as long as you know what you're doing. Whatever suits you.
If you're coming fresh and aren't sure at all, give a new niche at least 20 hrs of your unadulterated time to understand it. As much as you can. Whatever you can. Don't just rely on the economics of it. Go for the ops too. And all that there's around it. Do this before you say a YES or NO.

In the end, as with everything in your life (including your very own life), there are no guarantees. Only a sense of assurance based on the past and present to determine what best your future can hold for you.

What i meant is building email lists and promoting affiliate products to them, of course dont over do this, give value too, i think 50% + 50 % promotion you will be fine.

Eem, ebook? a good place to start is udemy, and of course get cheap courses there based on reviews, good luck buddy

First of all; thread moved to "Money Making" sub-forum.

Second, in answer to your question I would just say diversify - make sure you have 3-4 different streams of income at any one time (and if you dont' have that then you should be working towards it).

That way you are not reliant on one area of business and if one starts dropping off you can focus your efforts on the other streams and vice versa.

Secondly, make sure you are fluid in your approach - this is very important with SEO for example because things are changing all the time. Someone who is stuck in one way of doing everything might say that SEO is dead now and its not the same as it once was, but someone who is changing things up and moving with the times might say the opposite.

This is the best advice you can get - the holy grail is pretty much not having your eggs in one basket + sparing an hour or two daily for some other projects.

After the commission rates cut in April 2020 I heard the advice to look at other affiliates. Ofc it has its disatvantages: you depend on google's algorithm, affiliate's comission and a very long time to achieve considerable profits (if you do it right).

I wonder if there is another method which is as good as an affiliate website, but doesn't take 1-2 years to achieve good profits. Does anyone know such a method. A keyword is enough. I'll do my research on my own. Thanks.

Don't let your hands down. Also don't put yourself in frames of "method". Sometimes reading this forum you close your mind for new ideas with all these methods posted here, but there are way more ways to earn money online than just learning methods from money making forums. Think out of the box, try to look into things that are interesting to you in the first place, and maybe you will find your own "method". Of course, reading other people stories and journies is not bad to get some ideas and learn things, but you don't need to focus on things that other people are focusing.
