Our server does verify emails. Not exactly by sending emails. Rather, what is does is more like pinging the email addresses since no once wants to receive unsolicited emails after all.

So essentially, it checks for the existence of DNS server for that email. To determine whether the email inbox exists or not, it checks for MX record for that email and return a result as ADDRESS IS SAFE FOR SENDING or SERVER ERROR STATUS code or Bounced. And yes, our server will get rid of spam traps also.
