Well, it appears that commissions will be cut once again on April 21st. Highest rate is now 3% for some shopping categories, while many have fallen to 1%.

Unreal, looks like this is going to affect a lot of people. They just sent out an email.

Ridiculous. I just got the email too. My commissions have just basically been cut in half. I almost feel lucky that my primary commissions category didn't go down to 1%. But I'm starting to realize it's just a matter of time before that happens or they do away with the affiliate program entirely.

The stupidiest thing is that I started 3 more sites. And they fell to 1% fee. Useless to. spend time.

It's easy to say this but the scary part is we all know they have more or less a de facto monopoly on e-commerce. They can totally do this and get away with it.

I've been trying to cope like this too. "Oh yeah w-well I'll just go to other affiliate programs then!"

Of course it's easy to say and you're absolutely right they have a monopoly on e-commerce. I imagine other networks will see this and (I hope) look to capitalize on it. Just my 2 cents though.
