Thank you wish you success with this journey. DO you have a plan to buy product in bulk and than build a brand for it? like label it or print your logo in your package.
I've done this with Amazon FBA and failed. I'm sticking with dropshipping. If I have a product that's selling like crazy then I could private label it but that's only something optional. It's a fun idea and could be a fun portfolio to show a potential employer. If you have the buyer audience Lookalike and it's solid and you really want to private label then that's when you could do it and have a better start but if you're asking if I have plans to just blindly go in to private labeling without first dropshipping and learning the right audience then I've done just that already and failed. The product I'm selling can be private labeled and I can make a unique brand around it but I must first figure out the winning audience for this product niche and then from there I can cross sell niche related products to that audience using FB ads. If you plan to private label then I wish you the best of luck. I've failed my first try at that and wasted money. It's a tough game.
Good luck for your journey and really some great piece of advises already you poured in this thread.
Good luck mate!
Thanks guys!
I will recommend few tweaks in the Facebook Campaigns.
Create Separate campaigns for Facebook and Instagram. This way you will know which one is performing better.
There are different ad sizes for Instagram, do check that also.
If possible, create different campaigns based on location so that you can increase bidding for that country.
Try catalog ads to show multiple variations of same product.
I am really inspired by your journey till now.
I understand exactly what you're saying! I'm only using the conversion campaign and set my ad set to purchase. I have this one audience who happens to buy the product I'm selling. My last conversion campaign started declining in results so I just made a new one with a higher budget. I never created any targeted ad sets to go for this platform or only but just that country. It's good advice to take but right now for me, I'm seriously just throwing money into one creative, one ad set, targeting e-packet countries, with lowest bid possible.
My main goal with this low effort venture is to score 100 - 200 sales just to make a lookalike and then after that I'll seriously do the same thing with a larger budget till it's a really good buying audience. After that I could definitely start testing everything out just like how you say. Most of my sales are from Australia and I would like to do the micro targeting within certain countries and split test platforms with specific made creatives. I just don't want to do that till the store is making me a lot more money. This is just a side thing right now but I still hope the best with it. If I start failing some with this new made campaign I can do some micro targeting but I have to wait several more days so the ads can learn before I judge.
I really like your thinking and that makes being a marketer something more than just doing simple stuff. I'm keeping my investment low regarding effort and money for now. So I'm taking a more lazy route for now.
I've noticed that all my sales are generally from Instagram. It's pretty much the only platform scoring sales on other stores I watch too. Instagram is the money pot!
