7 Days To Profitable FB Campaign

Thanks for the quick response! If you want to decrease the price per lead, try more specific interests from Audience Insight. I worked on this market before and got many leads for cheaper price.

Np.

With optimization and look-a-like audiences I could have gotten the CPL down to probably around the $10/mark.

The only issue was the network, they were rejected way too many of my leads. There is no way I was gonna do all that work only to have 4 out of 5 leads get rejected.

When did you work in the niche? Lots of people are promoting in that niche these days, so conversions will probably lower than a couple of years ago.

I remember when you could generate energy leads (in the UK) using FB lead ads for under $1 :D

Yeah. It was 2 years ago and you are right, CTR is lower and lower...

Nah, this is paid traffic, if you know what you're doing you can get results in 2-3 days and kill or scale the campaign. This ain't SEO where you need to wait 3 months for results :D .. you just need to throw $$ to feed the machine data.

I was using FB lead gen. for the solar campaign.
But I killed it as the network was rejecting too many of my leads.

I'll see if I can find another network to work with. Otherwise that's that.

You don't want to sell the leads to a local solar company?

That is a hot (yeah I know using hot in this idea is whack) industry and there are some really good programs in the USA that make it easy for a homeowner to buy.

Bleep the network and go direct.

I dunno man, its the whole headache of seeking them out, then you're restricted to just a small area. I like to go wide and promote to a lot of people.

I think I'm just gonna drop the campaign and focus on this PPCALL stuff. Hopefully that will pan out.

Thanks for your comment, m8.

Oh, yeah I figured out 2 weeks later that you were joshing with the other coronavirus domain registration. :D

See ya around.

Welp, my last journey ended in failure.

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/journey-to-1-pay-per-call-lead-in-14-days-or-less.1191234/

I've decided to brush myself off and test something new.

Right now I'm working on an Energy lead generation offer (solar power) for a small CPA network.

The good news is they're paying roughly $30-40 per lead.

The bad news is it's a long form (around 11 data points). So that's gonna hurt conversions.

The okay news is that I am allowed to generate the leads using FB leads.

If you're not familiar with that, then https://www.facebook.com/business/ads/lead-ads.

---------------------------------

I've already started messing around with it.

I'm around $200 in (including ad spend + misc. like ad creatives).

Generated only 1 conversion that I've been paid for... $40. So I'm $160 down. Wooohooo.

======================================

I'm also not ready to call it quits on the hardwood/carpet flooring PPCALL offer just yet.

I've built a 3 step landing page that I'm gonna try to promote this week.

I'm just waiting on a video to be produced for it, then I'll run some traffic to the new landing page I created (no more messenger ads). And retarget those that engaged but didn't convert.

NAICE

I always tell myself, if I can get 1 conversion, I can get 2, if I can get 2, I can get 5, if I can get 5, I can get 10, if I can get 10, I can get 30, if I can get 30, I can get 50...100...1000.

But it all starts with that 1 lead. If you can't get that first lead, then f*ck that shit.
That's how i go when i use paid traffic. Keep it up :)

Oh well, looks like I failed at this journey as well.

Managed to get a total of 2 leads. Spent about $700 testing shit. Soo yeah, major loss on this one. :D

Here are some of the methods I tried:

Method 1) Capture leads through FB lead ads, wait 3 min. then call them up using zapier + slybroadcaster.

Zapier is a automation tool, slybraodcaster lets you send voicemails to people - and have your number show as a missed call - so they can call you back (or in my case, call back the PPCall offer).

Method 2) Run a Reach campaign using a video I ripped and edited from youtube - and instead of people clicking and going to my website, they clicked and facebook would pre-populate my telephone number (the PPCall offer's telephone number).

Method 3) Sent visitors to my front page. The front page funnelled them to product page (i.e list of the different products we offer). And the product page funnelled them to a landing page that asked them to call to book a free decorator.

Method 4) Sent them directly to the Bottom of Funnel (BOF/BOFU) landing page where they can book a free visit from a decorator.

Method 5) I captured people's info through FB lead ads, then asked them to call to confirm their free visit from a decorator.

The method that worked best was method 4. Go for the direct approach.

Why did I spend so much, because FB requires a decent budget to capture enough data. Many other native ad platforms and PPV platforms require $3k-$10k just to gather data, so FB is still cheap compared to them. Google requires roughly the same amount as FB to capture proper data from the people I've talked with.

What's next: I'm gonna try a different angle and throw another $100-200 at this campaign, after that - move on to a different niche.

What do you have in mind, if this one fails?

Actually I just hired someone from fiverr (east european person) to run adwords for me as I'm not used to running adwords.

I'm gonna do a quick test with adwords to see if that converts with this offer (I'm probably suffering from sunk cost effect, but f*ck it... ).

What I'll promote after this... I dunno yet. Can't find anything worthwhile to promote, everyone's product is shitty LOL. You got anything in mind to promote?

Not really lol. Wish i could help you in that case but i am currently trying my luck in Sweepstakes SOI/DOI's. It would be great if Tesla had a Referral Program where you could earn per conversion. I think that would be great for you :)

haha, yeah, I need to find some decent well known brands to promote. I dunno man, I'll keep looking. I'll let you know if I find something worthwhile.

Go with marketcall other than that good idea to try adwords since it's search traffic so it should convert good

I'm still looking for a decent offer to promote.

In the meantime, I'll promote one of my own offers that I created last year, but never got around to promoting because the niche is heavily regulated by Adwords & Facebook ads.

I'm gonna run some ads to the offer using Pinterest Ads - First time using their platform, no idea what I'm doing - but the good thing is my offer is geared towards women so that's a major bonus because from what I understand Pinterest is mainly used by females.

Good luck. I'm thinking of doing CPA Facebook ads too. Is click bank CPA?
