CMS or Not Cms or hybrid. What to choose?

Dear,
PREMISE I can handle Javascript, html and css but I was born with a doubt at SEO level now ... let me explain ... I am creating a website in source code (No using CMS) (I prefer them a lot because they are much more dynamic and less mechanical than wp) so let's say that the frontend is all ok. I have to do the blog part now.

• Do you recommend me to make only the part of the blog with wp or is the whole site better in wp? what do you recommend?
• So now I was thinking HTML (no CMS) (for the part that rarely changes) + WP (Blogging) what do you think? Will I have problems at SEO level?

Any opinion about it is well accepted

Take a look at Frontity project, backend being WP while front end being in React. Quite an interesting project.

Unless you want a custom backend and authentication system, I'd say go with WP. It saves you a lot of time and that time could be better spent on something more productive. You can create your own plugin as well for your use case. As a javascript user, it won't take that long for you to learn the basics of PHP.

can dividing the site into two parts work? or do you mean all WP?

I suggest create your web app from scratch for easier customisation, and use wordpress for blog only. Expressjs will be best option

It would but WP can function both as a static site(pages) and blog(posts)

Have a look at Jekyll for building static sites. It’s perfect for developers. You can also have a look at Gatsby and NextJs to build static andr more dynamic content. There’s also Strapi which is a headless CMS with the ability to generate static and dynamic websites. It has a fantastic Admin panel you can use to create APIs or even use as a CMS to push content.

If you’re interested with JavaScript then definitely check out what I mentioned and kick WP to the curb and don’t look back.
