The best way
The best way to use domainlord is to search the keywords yourself manually and then feed it with the domains to search for expired domains. The search function does that too but doing it manually gives you more control and searching is anyway a one time process. After you have the list of root domains then you can scrape them again and again to find new domains every time.
Proxies should not be used in this strategy unless you have any specific reason of using them.

what about the spam score of the links that the exspired domain got .
is there any way to get spam score information .
for example
Has the exspired domain ever been penilized.
is the exspire domain spam check aginst archive.
is there any chinese or adult back links pointing to the exspired domain.
this info would be grate if can be done

I'm thinking about purchasing the copy, but wondering if it's still up to date.
Also, I tried to run the trial version on my laptop, but got an error that this software is not compatible.
I have Windows 10, 32 bit. (Maybe it should be 64 bit?)

The fact that the license doesn't work has nothing to do with posting.
This is how it works ... you install the software ... it doesn't work ... then you post. That's how time works.
