I am a new member but have been following the BHW IG forum for a while. I decided to create an account as I would appreciate your expertise on an issue I am facing.
I have a travel IG account for around a year and currently stand at around 5000 followers and quite good engagement. I post my own content, which I believe is not bad, and aspire to use my account commercially. I used FollowAdder for F/UF and Liking in the past, however at Nov 2018 when IG got updated I got consecutive bans without changing my settings, so I decided to stop botting. I also had an app tracking followers/unfollowers on my phone, but it got messed up after the last update so I had to uninstall.
After stopping botting, my growth stagnated. I did some manual F/UF for a while which was effective, however it was very time-consuming and messy without automation and any following tracking apps so I stopped this too. I am very serious about creating content and instagramming so I am looking for a clean, long-term and painless solution that will allow me to grow again.
My needs are the following:
1/ security: I don't want to take any risks for long-term penalty or permanent bans on my account. Also, if I need to provide credentials to a software, I want to make sure these will be kept safe. Security is my top priority.
2/ OS: I am working on a Mac only operating Apple OS so can only use compatible software (e.g.not Jarvee).
3/ growth: I am looking for a solution that can realistically provide around 50 new followers per day. I know my content is good enough, if it gets in front of the right eyes.
4/ cost: my budget is around £20-30 per month for any paid services
My plan:
Advertise each post on IG (I get around 2000 likes for £2). Then, restart automation and target all non-followers who liked my content with F/UF.
My questions for you:
1/ Is batting the right solution for my problem in 2019? If yes, which bot (compatible with Mac) would you use given the above parameters?
2/ Is F/UF the best strategy to solve my problem? What do you think of my idea to advertise my content and then target non-followers who like it?
3/ Are you aware of any software to accurately track followers / unfollowers for large accounts after the last update?
