I've never used a cloaker. My recommended method would be to create your own landing page with opt-in form then send offers/products via email.

thank you for this thread, do you have a guide or can point me to one about retargetting? would really love to know how to do retargetting. Thanks

At the risk of being self-promotion-y I have a blog post on it here. Other than that Miles Beckler has a very extensive video on it here.

Let´s say that i made some sales and my pixel get enought data. How should i narrow down the audience and be more targeted? make lookalikes audiences or custom?

What is the best funnel for ecommerce in your experience, in the low to lower medium price range? (I know it depends widely, but just generaly some tip on that would be great)

thanks for this thread. I have a newly opened coffee roastery. just finished the website and want to get sells. please give me some feedback on my ad strategy:
1. warm up the pixel, by targetting everywhere I can deliver coffee, for a week and a budget of 140$. creative copy "try the new specialty of freshly roasted coffee" - pic of a bag of coffee with some beans and a cup of coffee
2. retarget with lookalike audiences to people who visited the website
3. retarget to people who added to cart but haven't completed the purchase

1. Is there away to target people based on the car they drive ?
2. How can i target spring breakers ?
3. Is true that facebook ads cost in EU is cheaper than US?

IDK why i can t edit my post so i can put this question there. If let s say i m in the surfing niche and i can get like hundreds of emails i can put those email on facebook and create a custom audience, what do you think of this?

Make highly segmented lookalikes of your *best* customers. This is key. For eCommerce these would be people that have high average order values, repeat customers, etc. Shoot for seed audiences of between 1,000-4,000 people.

Conversion campaign direct to purchase > upsells/downsells in checkout process. Upsell and downsell further through FB ads and email. Retarget to capture abandoned carts and product page viewers. Nothing fancy needed for low-medium price point.

I would add in test many ad formats, mainly video (slideshow is fine if you can't make one), carousel, and single image. Use engagement ads to test which creative/audience combo is best to invest your budget into. $140 is too low to start though imo. You need ~$250 at a minimum before you can actually seeing profitable purchases on a new store, and that's on the low end.

1. No
2. Target college aged students with interests in travel websites (Trivago, Kayak, etc.)
3. Yes. US is the most expensive

Yes this works. You would obviously want to verify the quality and accuracy of the emails or you risk diluting your audience quality. But this is generally how creating custom/lookalike audiences works.

what clocker do you use?
where do you get fb ad accounts?

I don't use cloakers or buy FB ad accounts.

How much is the average of cost per purchase selling T-shirt in 2019?
Let's say I'm selling $24 T-shirt on Teespring, with base cost of $10,
I only have $14 room to manage promotion and get a slice of profit.

Average is probably $7-$10. However you can easily get that down to $2-$4 if you have enough customer data for a a highly targeted lookalike audience. I would recommend using Shopify+Printify/Printful rather than Teespring though.

May I know the reason that you recommend Shopify+Printify/Printful rather than Teespring?
I checked that Printify/Printful's base price is around the same with Teespring.
And with shopify you need to do customer service yourself.

If I create a landing page that ultimately links to a clickbank product will Facebook know about this? How would you promote a clickbank offer using Facebook ads? The reason I ask is because I know Facebook doesn't like clickbank products so I just want to know what the risks are as I don't want to get banned. Thanks!

Engaged shopped Interest is a myth perpetuated by dropshipping gurus that have never run a campaign. It doesn't work. You should be setting up ad sets with 1 interest each in them when you are first starting out.

I'm good, thanks.
What kind of ad would you use to advertise a local pizza place?

There a lot of reasons. But mainly:
1. You control your data, not Teespring
2. Control over your store design/landing pages
3. Plugins/themes/resources that will improve your results

There are hundreds of multi-million dollars businesses built on Shopify. Not many built on Teespring.

Yes they will know. The ideal way to promote ClickBank/affiliate offers is to create ads that go to a squeeze page. Collect emails, drip them useful content with an autoresponder and weave in links to products/offers where it fits.

What kind of ad would you use to advertise a local pizza place?

Engagement ads with no targeting to the nearby zip codes. Super aesthetic and tasty looking photos of their pizza. Include a link to their website with easy-to-see info on how to order online or over phone.

Title says everything ;)

I currently manage $50,000/month in ad spend for a variety of clients. Mostly eCommerce and lead gen for blogs and service providers. Happy to help however I can :)

^^^ Can't afford to pay his cousin to create a favicon on his link...

**Did I really look like this when I was self promoting without reading rules?

Is better to use ads on Instagram only or we should combine Instagram and Facebook together?
