Help with growing a male vanity account

Hey guys,

I recently got a request from a client who's a 22 year old male who's trying to make a vanity account of him. Its a vanity project. He wanted to gather a following of women from Eastern and Central Europe. The thing is, I took the job but don't know how to market this. Should I grow other male model accounts then shoutout to this one?

So far my ideas include growing out a travel/luxury/fashion/fitness for women then shouting out to the male model channel. Ideas?

In the future I'd definitely recommend against picking up clients in niches you don't have experience of your own in.

Anyways, I'd build up an initial untargetted following from luxury/menswear/womensfashion DM groups, then I'd move into DM group of vanity accounts and grow using the viral method.

Alternatively/Additionally, you could use the fan page method using targetted follow/unfollow from European Countries and if your bot supports it, gender targeted as well.

Thanks and yeah. Well I don't have any time constraints. This client is not a hard client, its more like a relaxed acquaintaince of mine who is willing to pay the extra cash for a good following whenever.

It all depends on how you do it. The fan pages don't have to be exact copies of your account, they could be accounts of other guys and you could shout out the main saying something along the lines of "check out my friend @clientsaccount" or in an auto dm, you could say something along the lines of "my friend @clientsname and I are doing a collab...(details)... anyways, I'd appreciate if you check him out @clientsname". There's plenty of opportunities, what you choose to do is dependent on your client's resources and wishes.

You’d have to amend the message a bit but I’m sure it would be work. Men AND women would follow luxury travel and fashion accounts though so that may not be your best bet.

Tbh I only mentioned that because those are the things (other than hot guys) that attract women as a crowd. For instance, fashion could be about makeup specifically for women.

You could also grow something like 'couplegoals' and say 'owner: @client' in the bio. Girls like cute couple pictures and if it's a guy owning it it's even better

Right yeah. Btw, is there any tool that lets me find out the gender distribution of a specific instagram account without owning the account? This could help expedite the process.

Thanks everyone for your input. So far I could extract women followings from:

1) other hot guy accounts
2) fashion (directed at women like makeup etc.)
3) luxury
4) nightlife

Take the followings from these accounts and bring them to a 'couplegoals' similar account which girls like and engage with. Or a memes page for girls. or motivational quotes pages. or maybe other girls fitness pages. Idk something which girls enjoy.

Then shoutout the main page from this buffer page.

Any new ideas I could use? any tips or tricks?

Oh i forgot to answer your question in my previous reply. No my friend isn't looking to convert followers into customers. Its purely for vanity purposes for now. Idk if he might do something like that in the future, but for now that is not my concern anyway.

Good luck with your plan! It sounds great so far.
Depending on how serious your client is you could also grow another guy account or fanpage of a male model. Then get in contact with real accounts just like your clients one and do shoutout for shoutout in your story. So your male model fan account promotes a guy, and that guy promotes your client in his story. This works amazingly well for girl accounts. It takes some time but this method alone gives me 1k+ a day on my female client account.
