Difference in Crypto Discussion This Thanksgiving Compared to Last

This time last year the hype surrounding crypto was growing to an all time high.

Did you reccomend to any of your family and friends that they should jump on board with crypto?
Did any of your friends and family get you into crypto?
Did you get an awesome recommendation that made you a boat load of money?
Did you buy in at the peak and advise others to do the so as well?

I'm curious to hear some stories.

What do you think the the conversation surrounding crypto will be this year? I just had a look and it looks like the last week was not so great. I was just curious as to what people will be talking about this thanksgiving an how they will approach the subject of crypto if at all.

I'm a trader and I follow the crypto news all the time. I earned a lot on it but the situation now is awful..
The market is falling and even I become nervous now. I still hold coins and don't do a panic selling, but I'm not sure I could keep it for a long time if the situation won't change in nearest 1-2 months.
If you decided to start it it's not the best time.. I hope it will change for better.

Thank goodness the quick kill speculators got what was coming to them. BTC was never supposed to be a short term investment in the first place. Now it can return to being understood as the long term growth vehicle, and currency alternative it was intended to serve as.

Family members who do not still hold crypto will not be invited to this year's celebration, as we will be discussing mostly matters related to the blockchain.
