Short Story: I had a channel with 140k subs and a guy scammed me and took it from me.
Long Story: I had a Youtube Channel with 140k subscribers and on September 12, 2018 a channel named Urban Trap commented on my video and said he wants to talk to me for a business deal. He gave me his no. and we chatted on WhatsApp. Then on WhatsApp, he offered me to join his network and become his partner youtube channel and said, after joining his network I will never get copyright again. I agreed cause he sounded genuine and the offer was good. After that, he asked me to give him access of my channel just for few minutes for the process of joining his network and when I gave him the access he scammed me and transferred my Youtube channel with 140k subs from my ID to his ID(rimasnetworkoficiallc(at)(gmail(dot)com), and after that, he blocked me from WhatsApp.
More Information: My channel name was Danquids and after scamming me and transferring the channel, he changed its name to Noticia Trap. (Here is the link to my channel, which is his channel now. I have all the proofs that the channel was mine like Video material and screenshots in the admin area of the channel but please note when the channel was owned by me, it was named as Danquids and now he changed its name to Noticia Trap after transferring to his ID, you can ask youtube about it, I think they must have record of these things.
I have talked to Youtube in this matter, and they said they can't help me in this matter, contact the police, so please help me in returning my channel from him, only he has the permission to do it. It takes a lot of time to gain 140k subs on the channel and moreover I was earning thousands of dollars from that channel and that scammer took it from me and now I have nothing. I can do anything I can do from my side but please help.

I know that I was stupid in this scenario, but I am not going to lose my channel to a scammer. I have filed a complaint in IC3 but waiting for their reply for 2 days.
I will shut that channel down if didn't get it back, but I am not going to let a scammer use it in any condition.

Unfortunately I don't think there is much you can do. Unless you are a big player on YT they don't really care.

Isn't a YouTube channel tied to a Google account? I wouldn't even be able to let someone login to my channel because of my Google account's 2 factor authentication. Sorry to say, but your channel is gone unless Google support can help you.

Yes, a YouTube channel is tied to Google Account, but if your YouTube channel is a brand account than you can transfer it from 1 email ID to other. I didn't know about it too before this happened.

Yes my channel make money, but the problem with police complaint is that we both live in different countries, still, I filed a complaint in IC3 and FTC 2 days ago, but still waiting for their reply.

Just a note..if the guy lives in europe then you should not worry as the e.u. has some serious laws in place for electronic fraud. I know of many who scammed eu guys from the states and asia and they entangled the embassies from their e.u. nation into a cross border shit storm...and yes..the guy did take back his channel and the other guy...well he went to jail in his own country for fraud.

Since then i always visit when i can embassy dinners...you never really know when you or they will ask for a favor :-)
 
Well that was incredibly stupid either your a scammer trying figure out how to get into someones account or your a idiot. In what way would giving someone your login details help you not get any strikes. Thats like someone telling you they can fire and flood proof your house you own so you give them the keys and transfer all the rights, deeds etc to them. Learn from the experience start a new channel and never freely give away your shit in the promise of future shit vet people and do research. In real life and online never trust people with slick or nice talk their the ones who can hide intentions the best under false personas.

@davids355 i guess the OP just was not able to choose: „I made a mistake“ as topic because it still hurts too much. This whole topic got nothing to do with being hacked.
It is like loosing a 50$ note on the street and claiming your where robbed.
Sorry mate for your loss but I guess compared to your concurrent learning it was a good invest.
Busines lesson learned, stand up and continue running - as success means to stand up one more often then to fall down.

What country was the scammer from?

Do you have any personal information on this guy?

Track his ass down and beat your account back out of him

He was from Puerto Rico, USA.
Information that I have is: his contact number, instagram, youtube, email
but he is not replying on any of them
