Hi all,

i have started a new Ecom drop-shipping business, i have thought about using PPC as there isnt any influencers in my niche on IG to warm my FB pixels.

Now the question i have is which would you start with, my budget is £10 per day totaling £300 per month i have heard that googles average bid for keywords are around £0.80 - £2.80 which would only send me like 5 clicks daily and giving my i run on around 50% mark up and prices range from $10 - $170 it could cost me a pretty penny to make some sales.

so basically which would you do with such a small advertising budget?

Thank you in advance

Are those numbers for the average bid from your research? There really isn't an "average bid" since so many factors come into play.

Not only does the niche vary, but the quality and relevancy of your landing page, your ad copy, your targeting, and your geo location all influence the CPC. If you can manage to get a good QS on your ads you can get more affordable CPC.

That said, for ecommerce and most dropshipping niches, it is difficult to see success on such a low budget. You simply need a huge volume of clicks in order to convert. If you're shooting for a 2-3% conversion rate (which is excellent for ecommerce) then you'll need at least 30-40 clicks to even make a sale. Without knowing your margin or profit rate, it's hard to calculate. But you probably need to run a test with a few hundred bucks for a week or two to gather data.

Very informative thank you!

So would you advise to research fb ads and maybe start there?

my profit margin is also 50% of the sale price and my store prices range from $10 to $170, so lets say i told a $10 product my total profit before marketing would be $5.

Actually, no, I think in general Google Ads can be much more effective in selling products if done appropriately. It all depends upon niche. Facebook is great for low-price, impulse type purchases. Google Ads is far better for more expensive items, where people probably have more intent since they're actively searching.

It's always easier to convert when people actually want the product and are searching for it, rather than just happen to see it.

perfect thank you i will continue my path of researching google ad words, thank you for your help

If your budget is $10 per day, I suggest your try with free method. Use that money to run bots for instagram, twitter, youtube,or facebook.

I have tried last time, $1000 in advertising, I gain $1500 back, but after minus stores, subsrciption, apps and so on, I was making less profits. Then I abandoned that project due to some issue.

Advertising for beginner will use lot of money and testing. I have seen people spend less and make profit, but it is very rare for those who are having less money to burn.

If you have less money for ads, learn different method.

By the way, gud luck and all the best. Just my opinion. :)
