Hey guys, I recently got accepted into Merch but haven't had the time to outsource designs and I feel like letting it sit empty is a total waste. Please have in mind that the account is totally untouched, so we would be starting from scratch - think of it as a long term project.

I believe full disclosure is the way to go for a successful JV, so if you have any questions feel free to ask. My only requirement is you having at least 50 posts on the forum.

JV Approved.

Please note: When you go into partnership with another member, you MUST do your own due diligence. All partners in a venture take full responsibility for the service and for each other's actions in respect to that service. If any member breaks the marketplace rules, all partners will bear the consequences.

Remember, use your head, don't expect everything to be perfect and plan on working to be successful as almost no business opportunity just pours cash into your hands without some elbow grease.

How are you planning on bringing traffic that converts?

Thanks for approving this, Bass.

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw the JV was approved.

I was thinking organic traffic from Amazon with good keyword research/placement with the help of Merch Informer for starters. I also think Pinterest is a huge untapped market which we could take advantage of. Later we can start buying ads if we deem it necessary.

All suggestions are welcome though, I am certainly not an expert.

A year ago, you could do this with good results. The problem now is that Merch is so flooded with sellers, that the competition is fierce.

Once you hit the higher tiers (500/1000/2000), then you can target a niche with large numbers of t-shirts and achieve good sales. But getting to those tiers, you need to be smarter now and look for outside promotion.

Edit: This Journey (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/amazon-merch-journey-from-0-daily-to-9-figures-daily.1014351/) might give you some ideas if you find someone for your JV

Yeah I kinda figured organic traffic on Amazon is not as easy as it seems. Maybe one can find success in highly targeted sub-niches, but nothing's guaranteed I guess.

Thanks for the heads up man, much appreciated.

If your not an expert in designing merch or bringing traffic that converts, there is nothing you really bring to a Merch JV is there?

Easy now, I never claimed I am an expert in anything, nor did I offer to bring in converting traffic from the get go.

The title clearly states that I offer my Merch account which apparently is difficult to get for quite a lot of people. No need for you to act like a douche if you were expecting something different than what I already mentioned in my op, I'm not forcing anyone to accept my terms.

So for full disclosure your jv is you want the other person to handle the design work and the marketing and you provide a merch account?

And what % would you want for providing the merch account?

If you offer design & marketing, I'd say around 80-20 in your favor seems fair.

How long it took until they accept you mate ?!
and is it ok if i incloud the link of my portfolio in "behance" not the website ?! , because i dont have a website !
