Anyone Knows About SEO In Arabic Websites?

Hello pals,

I want to know about SEO when it comes to Arabic websites.

I know that it's advised to have url's in Arabic but I what about categories URL? I saw most websites doing urls categories with English urls and have blog posts with Arabic urls. Would doing both blog post and category URL in Arabic give someone a competitive advantage in search results (google)?

What are the best practices when it comes to Arabic websites?

No, as long as the urls are short there's no advantage. Google is smart enough to translate something like ie: domain(dotcomsa)/5-tips-better-health

But when you have something like ie: domain(dotcomsa)/here-are-5-super-easy-tips-to-live-a-better-life ...
then the translation can get screwed up, giving it a slightly different meaning in your language, as the translating is never perfect.

As long as your blog titles/posts/headers/tags are in Arabic, it won't matter much whether your urls are English, as long as they translate correctly (test it yourself using Google translate, if it translates that url correctly how you want, then by all means use English).

i do myself have chars like óężź in my language that are considered special and I do not include them in urls. I suggest u the same

you can rank, but if you make automated links then you have a problem, most webs 2.0 and profiles wont support special characters, so they wont be able to link to you, (no matter if bots or real human). this includes other cmses too.

Yep, most of them are using breadcumbs on SERP pages, do you know how I can do that? I mean showing breacumbs instead of URLS on SERP
