Making money with bots - i know how, but what?!

Hey!

Let me start with introducing myself. I am a software developer (mostly web applications - backend/frontend). I do this for money and i really enjoy it. As a "free time" activity, i also really enjoy building web or api bots. I still have a lot to learn, but it has always been my passion so i know few good tricks already

So, as everyone, i like money, and i want to use my skill and time in some money generating bot But the problem is, i have no good idea what kind of bot to do.. I was working on currency trading bot in past, but its still somehow gambling and i dont like it so much. I also created a lot of bots for dating websites/apps ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I also found a flat for myself using bot. Also few more social network bots.. The thing is, none of those things really bring any money. I could sell them as a service or just sell scripts, but i don't really want to go in this direction (at least at this time). I would rather have something that is running on some server, and i just check the data from time to time, fix a bug and let it run again. For example, those "click ad to get money" websites would be a good start, if there would be any that give you actual payout .

So, now i need you, coforumers, to maybe give some ideas, of the services online, that give you money for repetitive work (which is perfect for bots). Any other money-making-bot-related idea would be very welcome of course!

I would also enjoy teaming up with someone with same interests and create something epic!

Also subquestion: are there any bot communities/forums/slackteams/whatevers online where people with interests to bots are communicating?

If you don't want to sell/make bots, look at other bots.
Particularly popular bots people are using and paying lots of money for licenses for.
Reverse engineer them, how they work, how they make money, then make your own bot to do just that but better.
Few people will tell you personally exactly what to bot, where to bot, and how to profit. If they did it would likely be saturated dead quick don't you think? It's up to you to find a method that makes money and see if it can be automated. Look around the forum...some methods have been shared that rely on benign work/small imacros scripts.

Personally, i would not like to work bots for others, but for me And I think these services are slavery anyways. But thank you for suggestion! Maybe i will still check and find any good ideas

Hm, could you explain this more please? You create bots that farm money, and then you sell it? Or am i wrong?

Yes, there is huge market for game currency, check g2g

Yes market is still good. But best times are over. But you cannot compare some web bot with bot for World of Warcraft or other big game. It is like comparing building paper plane to actual plane. Also if you make bot for WoW and you want to sell prepare to hide your ass from blizz layers. Best option is to make bot in keep it private. Or sell it just to few big farmers with hunders of accs.
