Yes, I took the title from a movie. The movie was about survival, our will to exist against all odds.
This journey is also about survival. I will bare open all facts, even personal ones, in the hope that it would possibly inspire others to execute or at least learn from my mistakes.
Who am I?
Am a 20-something guy living in Gurgaon (one of the biggest tech hubs in India).
At this point in time, I have exactly $150 in my bank account. Blame it on the lack of a saving habit and terrible work ethic. My terrible work ethic is evident in the fact that I have so many dead journey threads. Let's hope this is not one of them.
Like I said, this is about survival.
What am I going to do about it?
I am going to code my way out of this hellhole that I created. I have almost no coding experience, have gone halfway through a beginner's Python course. That's it.
I am going to learn Python+Django and create a website(s) that makes me $100/day minimum. I am yet to know what that website will do or what it will be about. But I have time.
I am going to finish up this course: https://www.udemy.com/automate/learn/v4/
and then move onto this course for basics of Django and OOP: https://www.udemy.com/python-and-django-full-stack-web-developer-bootcamp/learn/v4/
Then I would come up with an idea that would utilize my new skills to make some green.
127 Hours? What has that got to do with any of it?
I believe I can get started working on my money website in just 127 hours. I will log each single hour here. Also, when I say an hour, I mean productive hours I spend learning and coding. That's what am counting here.
PS. Don't ask me how I got the 127-hour figure. I have a very strong intuition.
