Get Paid For Blogging!

Just signed up for an account, waiting for it to be approved.

After reading the post, i got encouraged to start this and see how it goes, going to post a review later on.

Having some starting questions so i know i´m the right track though:

1. After checking the trending topics, so i start lower and move my way up?
2. Can i quote other websites regarding news or do i need to build the story from the ground up?
3. Do you track the upcoming niches from the website or google? (noob question)

Waiting for a reply!
Cheers

I must be missing something. Money is going out but how is the money coming in? Do you have to pay to post?

i have an update ppl, my post has 16 upvotes only and the potential payout is 1.92. lets see if they payout. if they do, i will start doing this for about 6 hours a day.

Still waiting for the account to be approved, anyone had this as well?

Been 3 days so far.

Had my account approved and made a couple of posts. If you are interested, check them out by going on my profile @Qadesh

Thanks for the info man. I have seen your posts on steemit and they are very good quality posts. I have already applied to join there, waiting for the approval.

Thank you! appreciate it!

Hey Sirwinchester,

Just wanted to say that I am extremely interested in getting involved with the Steemit community, and have actually followed you - congrats on your recent 2K follower milestone! Hope to hit that mark someday too. It only took 1 day for my account to be approved, so it was pretty quick!

I am still navigating my way through the site, especially with the community tab. Would you say I should dive right into the community to get my profile out there? Or should I start creating quality content despite having no followers? Thanks!

Thank you very much!
I think you should post a few articles, maybe 3-4, but then really take your time to read other people's posts and comment under them. that way you will get their attention and your post will actually be seen.
And it's true not to write about your "best" topics right away when you're still new because they will likely be overlooked.

Thank you for sharing, how I wish I can also do this in the future :)

sure you can! you can just sign up and start blogging!

I already sign up, just for first step into cryptocurrency worlds seems what will happen, I never touch cryptocurrency before.

BTW, how I cash out to buy me a Raman at Japan ? :D

It's a long story, you have to transfer the coins to an exchange platform (for example bittrex), then you exchange it for bitcoin, and then you exchange the bitcoin to JPY.

how much does it take to get accepted?

nothing. just a working phone number and then a few days of patience.

just signed up. will post a review later.
thanks btw

you're welcome, I know the beginning can be tough but keep it up!

I just sign up and awaiting approval...Op I intend writing about football and politics, will this be nice for steemit?

Yes I think so, of course cryptocurrency topics are what always booms on steemit but football (sports in general) and politics/news are good too.

This post has really intrigued me. I signed up today and await confirmation. Might give me motivation to actually write instead of sitting on my ass doing nothing whole day. Thank you for the share, OP. Look forward to exploring everything that the website has to offer.

awesome! give it a try! (and don't give up, it really has potential if you stick with it!)

Yes, there is a reputation system. you start at 25 and work your way up.
and the top of trending page shows the posts with the most rewards, but also most comments and engagement. And it's also sorted by the time it was published.

Yes you can reference other websites, but make sure to link the quote otherwise people won't like it.

3. what do you mean with upcoming niches? do you mean the incoming votes? or which tags are trending?

I know, that's a little difficult to understand for someone who is new to cryptocurrency.
Okay so you know that bitcoins are generated through mining right?
"mining" means that a computer is doing the work, calculating thousands of transactions within the bitcoin network. And as a reward, the miner gets part of the bitcoins.

on steemit, YOU are the miner. instead of calculating transactions, you are creating content - content is the "transaction" of the steemit world. and you are the miner, the content is the value generated, and that's why you get rewarded for it.

no one is paying to post, and no one is losing any of their own money if they vote on other people's posts.

They definitely pay out. I've been doing this for almost a year now.
you transfer the STEEM to any exchange platform, then exchange it to bitcoin, then exchange it to your local currency.

Whats the catch really? Is it money laundering?

no it's not. it's a blockchain-based social media blogging platform. the catch is that the users generate value by creating content (see my answer above) and they get rewarded for that.

Been 3 days so far.

unfortunately it can currently take up to 1 week to get approved.

ANNOUNCEMENT!
I have started a new project called Steemit Promo. It gives people a chance to get featured on my blog!
That's exactly the kind of chance that any newcomer needs. You will get a stage, and an opportunity to show your work to an audience. You also get the steem dollar rewards.

I think this would be awesome for anyone from BHW who is just getting started with steemit.
you can register at www.steemit.promo .
And if you don't get chosen this time, you can simply enter again and again.

Curious mind wants to know , why steemit pay money?
What are the basics of it?

Seems very interesting and complex at a time!
Could you please provide me some resources explaining this process a bit more?
Any YouTube video or article?
I searched Google but could not find any good resources.
Thank for your valuable time and help. :)
