Definitely makes sense for webmasters to mobile optimize their websites as there is an increasing number of people using mobile internet.

These days it's pretty easy to implement a website which is completely mobile ready out of the box. Responsive themes and layouts. That's about all it takes to make a site mobile ready, so this should be no major challenge unless you have to go in and manually correct 100's of sites.

Just a heads up for you guys using wordpress who aren't already mobile friendly.
Use the free version of WPtouch plugin. Works a treat and easy to implement.

You will only need that if your site isn't responsive.
If you're using wordpress, and a responsive theme, then you won't need that plugin.
Still its a good shout for those who are using themes that aren't responsive.

Yeah it will take a few weeks for this to finish and for the full effects to be fully seen and analyzed, today I'm seeing some movement but nothing on the scale that was predicted.. just yet anyway..

Today jumped up from 41 to 16 for main keyword. Hopefully thanks to this update destroying my competitors rankings. Now if only it could also kill the 15 people's sites over me. I'd be #1 and a happy camper.
