WTH: CPALead Creating Accounts for Visitors Automatically

Maybe I should add a little of my view here. Note: I am not affiliated to CPAleads nor own the Company. I am also not a shadow account.

I am both an advertiser as well as publisher on affiliate networks. Common problem that we have as advertisers is that we need to have measurable track record to prove that all the leads generated were legit. Let us be frank, there are always blacksheep in the publishers. Put yourself in this, imagine spending $20k and not getting quality leads back that convert for sales. As an advertisers I have all the rights to ask for proof that leads were generated the way it was sold to me. And if the network cannot produce this evidence then I would simply request for my money back (or I would send a legal letter of demand). What CPAlead does actually helps to assure Advertisers like myself that no funny tricks are being done along the way and my interest as advertiser are guarded. Remember ultimately advertisers are the one paying for publisher services. So we expect professionals to generate leads for us and it has to measurable and tractable.

As a publisher, I can understand what the big concern is all about. But at the moment, if you are generating good leads, you should not be worrying too much. Since your visitors would most likely not visit CPAlead login panel ever after downloading the contents that they were promised. At the end of the day, your visitors reaches out to you because of your content and not about CPAlead. Collecting accounts in masses simply do not work if users were never interested with CPAlead in the first place.

ta hell with content locking and cpalead , am going to use PPI from now on .. ya greedy basterds

Thanks for your input but in this case the visitor lands at a fully working publisher dasboard. There are lot other methods to confirm legit leads which other networks are following. Even CPALead has the system to deduct the amont from publisher which they find as a bad lead.

Tracking is good but why to show the visitor my earning source? As I said earlier, they can make a different landing page for it where the original download link will be shown. On that page CPALead can add their banner. Those who are interested will join and it will not hamper my normal visitors.

Even I banked on the same point newon, and this what CPA Lead is doing is not right, but rather than rectifying the problem, he is giving up explanations which are not at all logical. Not only this I even pointed out problem with mobile offers.

I tried to explain it to Peter also, just imagine, a visitors come to my page www.fr33bitcoin.com/ebook.php reads the instructions then clicks on one of the eBook which takes the visitor to a landing page with more content, they read the content on what the book has for them and then clicks on download, goes through filling up forms and surveys and some other information and at the end gets a message saying "Your download link is sent to your email", now the visitor rushes back to their email logs in and checks the email (first they would be confused because they might think of getting an email from my website with domain name as fr33bitcoin.com or an email with the name fr33bitcoin, instead they get an email from CPA Lead, now the email says "link to your unlocked content" they click it and alas and frustrated they become on seeing a dashboard of which they know nothing about.

How frustrated would they be then and at that point of time why will they look for markers saying "your download link here"

I have a complete video that was made by a someone on what is exactly happening you an view the video from this link http://www.mediafire.com/watch/btm1xyd5agonz2b/Screen_08-31-2015_13-04-18.avi

They are using misleading words to get the visitors to their system, and to top it up there is no referral count and when I asked about that, Peter had his reply ready (which you can read from my previous post)

There is 10,000 ways to get security about the leads without granting them access to the same backoffice as we use. First one would be to use a different website if they want to collect emails.

I dont see anything wrong if the process goes as CPAlead.com said in the first post they made on this thread.

when I watched the video, I can conclude that this is not right, adding extra task to those people doing a survey will really pissed them off, and one more thing you are showing how you made money from them will make them very angry by showing them the dashboard, chatbox offers etc.., what if your traffic are coming from france and they completed a pin submit and they found out how much you made from them lol...

Thanks guys for opening up this thread this is really make sense, I will switch network atm... I will comeback when everything is fix.

Yes, that's the point...why would my visitors know about my earning process?

I am also planning to leave CPALead but it's hell lot of work ... I have to change hundreds of links from my sites, videos, forum posts etc.

You are correct bro
In the other forum where I had put up this topic, some members suggested that I should switch network, but the problem is switching network means hell lot of work. In addition those earnings which are there with CPA LEAD they would be paid or gone in vain (I have little earning there but then money is money after all, considering the cnversion rate of $ to my currency)

BTW - let me know which other network is good, since there are many, but I saw one network that has risen up a little, hope you might know about it still will PM you my ref link

I have seen the whole thread and the video, this is unacceptable, they should get a new domain specifically for this, build a visitor dashboard with their download links and a contact button, as simple as that, other things are unnecesary. I also had problems using their download widget, it forces you to display a (referral) link below to their site and you can't hide it, even if visitors sign up as our referrals, this should be optional, because most of publishers don't want their visitors know that we make money of them. CPALead should change this for their own good or they will lose publishers and reputation.

Did I mentioned it or not, if not here it is again

The mobile offers also have problem, the offers says install an app and open it for a time frame but when done it does not unlocks the content ....

Hey CPALead, please reply if you want to keep this style or any plan to change back to normal.
I want to hear from you before I make my final decision.

I left them way long back, cos their conversion was low, but this might be one of the reasons, I didn't know before leaving them.

Which network do you suggest, if you don't mind

I don't like it at ALL either. When faced with this "trickery" as a visitor, I just LEAVE and go elsewhere for the "file" or whatever I'm looking for. And a lot of people will do the same thing as they feel they are being scammed or going to harm their computer. They really need to streamline this better. Whoever came up with this BS can suck it.

Very few answers from cpalead staff. Very dispointed with this network, lot of reversal lead last year, never get my gift from reward, offers not optimised and now that. Follow the grip wave my friends, you wont be disapointed!

@newon and @TayaX, I'm currently using grip. In fact, I'm not active in content locking any more, but had worked with set and forget method long back, splitting it between grip and cpalead and I'm still getting conversions in grip, but not a click in cpalead, more over I don't have the links to the source of traffic, but I know it's from the set and forget method I did cos, I started using cpagrip only from then and never used the lockers anywhere, but I had used the lockers from cpalead way before that and everywhere.

So, grip is the way to go if you're working on content locking, but I'm not active as said and right now only doing aff marketing, so talk to your AM there and surly you will get good help.
