Wrong meta description showing on google

Hello, I am creating an adult tube website using a wp-script theme. Google is showing the wrong meta description in the search results. I am using Yoast SEO to change the meta description of my pages.
Here is a screenshot of google showing the wrong meta description

As you can see the meta description of tags is messed up

Same thing is with my categories and home page.

You need to wait for Google to re-index these links, after that is done you will see the "real" description etc..

Last time google crawled on my website was on Jan 4th but I made those changes before Jan 1st. I also checked it in the google webmaster. I think there is something else that is causing this issue.

Make sure that you have the right description and reindex it again, using webmaster tools.

Google can take up to 8 months to index.

if nothing works just sit it out like others.

google dont move for no one there very laid back.

It takes a while, You have to wait for it to be updated by google. Make sure your meta description is short and relevant.

You want to wait still google to re-index for links..

Google bots are very efficient to track new changes of those websites those who had high DA. If your website has more then 10 DA, then you should not wait for more than 2 weeks. Further, Following are few steps you should follow to fix this problem

Step 1: You should take the backup of your meta description and save this data for later use.
Step 2: Remove the meta description from your pages.
Step 3: Re-index the pages into a Google search console one by one.
Step 4: Wait for the Google crawler reaction about such changes ( Minimum One week )
Step 5: Keep checking your live pages into Google search by the command : site: yourwebsite/page
Step 6: When you see that Google stop showing your meta descriptions, then you again insert your meta description from your backup data. And again submit your pages into search console for indexing manually. Wait again for a maximum of one week time period.

There are great chances to fix such a problem.

Note: No doubt, by implementing the above mention strategy, your keyword rankings will get disturbed.
