I have a site that is 2 months old now, I originally created 8 different articles for the site all unique content several hundred words + of content on each but for whatever reason only one of these pages has indexed ? Why might that be ? I understand that indexing can't be very strange now, but that one page indexed pretty early on and came in and out for a bit but it indexed. None of the others have ever appeared in google why is that ? It's annoying because I want to create lots of content but if it never is going to index I don't know I should mess with this site anymore.

I have not done any black hat link building on this site btw. Also I have another newish site I created around the same time but never got around to, and it had 2 different articles and they never indexed only the home page.

Indexing has definitely become harder. Just add your site to Webmaster tools, get Google to crawl the page and ask it to index. If the page is decent you should get it indexed in an hour or so.

You can also resubmit your sitemap and make sure that it is being crawled in search console.

Try resubmitting for indexing and check again in few days

Pretty simple.. on-page over-optimization

suggesting I used a keyword to much ? Cuz that's deff not the case actually a lot of these articles I just created for nothing more than unique content no purpose for ranking anything.

You don't need to intend over-optimizing to do it.. 99% of content are over-optimized out of the box :)

The reason might be that Google simply hasn't visited those sites yet. Or at least the pages you're referring to.

Might be simple interlinking issue if those pages are orphaned.

The other pages might be cannibalizing the first one. That's why only that page got indexed.

Also, when you say "indexed" do you mean you used site: search to check? Sometimes people mean that rank tracker is showing "n/a" for rankings but page is actually indexed.

What do you mean by simple interlinking issue ?

And yeah I always check manually on google, I don't just mean out of top 10 pages or something ect.

I mean the pages are orphaned. Aka no other page links to it. In that care googlbot has a hard time finding them.

If it's not indexed, and you have not done any link building - then nothing will come crawling your pages to get them indexed, as everything is tracked as a link.
A link for you is a vote for your website that the content is worth something to others. Links can be social shares, blog links, or any links that you can think of.
If it's not being indexed, try using an instant link indexing service - if the content is good, it may get indexed within the next 24 hours.

Try submitting the pages in google webmaster tool. If the site falls with the google guidelines it will surely get indexed. Also check your sitemap. Try resubmitting it.
