Why do you like WordPress?

Easy to customize, easy to host, easy to use. And most likely it's the solution they offer clients.

I like Wordpress because it has a friendly user interface, and very good for beginners.

Wp ecosystem is huge, and a lots of stuff can be done with just plugin install, especially in seo

I will showing you something...

look at this screenshot, this is a professional setup of Logo+Site Title , any tip here which of the free wp themes can doing this?
I'm searching the last days on wordpress org directory- but no luck.

And I be not willing to buy an full crap over loaded theme from themeforest, envato etc, etc, since this is an world class cms, so it should not be a problem to setup Logo +Site Title ?

So sad you not reading what I‘m writing here guys.

I tried so many wp themes, include; understrap, blank theme, bootstrap theme, none of these themes are able to showing me professional Logo+ Site Title side by side none of them.
No matter which gutenberg templates you are using, when you insert a template - the template itself not has menu+custom logo settings as it's showing you in preview- none, it uses the default theme customizer- site identity.

So add Logo then whammm! Your Site Title disappears no matter which gutenberg template you import or Elementor template.
I tried 100 of wp themes, tried gutenberg templates useless nonsense of time spending it is.

Must go to fiverr and hire a freelancer because wp themes are not able to have this feature.
Or must going to Squarespace -SS is able to do this WP not. Why is that so ?

Or must try Drupal, many Drupal themes having this feature Logo+Site Title side by side WP not. Build a menu with pages add view (grid) then add your articles to these pages and you have a specific topic page , who is showing your articles in grid view.

It's an insane sick feature that WP themes not can showing Logo+Site Title side by side as you often see on professional themes (often not designed with wp) so I ask myself , when I need a professional theme, but wp can not do this....why should I using it? A free world class cms but I must hire a freelancer to make my page professional?

But you not see it, not recognize it you have your site title without a logo on your site , which is not showing any branding vibration, bravo, it's your decision.

Now I try setup Drupal.

Healthy and happy new year 2023 to all here !

So it's best to use SiteTitle without having a Logo in wordpress.

I tested Drupal 9 th epast 2 days, I be impressed ho weasy is it to setup compare to the earlier versions. It is relative easy to use, a really good cms blazing fast admin dashboard, not sluggish like wordpress.
Big downside, gutenberg editor not works, no matter which admin theme you use in Drupal, the save and preview buttons in gutenberg editor are not working, maybe a bug?
The gutenbergcloud big promises , but not laugh, you get only 12 premade patterns for Drupal- 12 (!).

Next downside- using Layout builder you can set easy your sections, it is similar to siteorigin wp plugin, so you have no premade blocks, sections or patterns there, you must setup and design all things yourself there, a painful workflow like 10 years back, what the hell the Drupal team is doing today?

A really good stable cms but it's not my cup of tea, gutenberg not works, gutenbergcloud comes only with 12 patterns- not laugh and working with their layout builder is arkward.
It is easy to setup your Logo+ Site Title side by side in Drupal, in WP - not possible.

So my only choice is using wordpress without a logo only the site title it's important for seo.
Maybe Joomla could be an option when it has premade patterns or blocks ?

Otherwise the only choice to build a good looking stable website without need coding or hire freelancer for page design is Squarespace.
But today I have found some sources with free (not nulled) elementor kits and templates, will try it tomorrow.

With Elementor only build the HOME front page with it, otherwise the page speed of your website will slow down like hell.
Sitecore has beautiful clean code best for seo ,but really expensive only for the web elite (Bill Gates use it- claro...)
Microsoft not has a good free cms ? Or cheap like squarespace? What's going on with them ?

Are there free easy to use cms (with premade blocks) who have super clean code like Sitecore cms for free ?
Compare the code of Bill Gates websites with the source code of a wordpress page - different like day and night !

Or I should give Joomla a try when it has premade patterns or blocks?

Have good evening rest guys....

I wish there is a free cms out there without need coding and a good clean (best optimized for seo) code likte SiteCore

goodnight

Why do you like WordPress? Do you believe WordPress is still unbeatable in terms of blogging and SEO?
Is there any reason for not loving it?
For me, WordPress is the best CMS to work with and most website owners have their website on WordPress.

I love it for many reasons. easy to learn, build, scale and manage, and really, its got everything a no/low coder needs.

OK I have found a way with wordpress;

Gutenberg using gutentor: all templates and blocks working well together wtih the wordpress theme layout /width
Free Elementor: using Starter Themes working well together with the theme layout/ width I be impressed !
And with the generatepress theme I can set Title + Tagline + Logo.

What makes me little bit confusing with Elementor is, when I import a starter theme using Elementor full width layout, I not get the entire page template with header, logo and navmenu.
The wordpress customizer settings is showing the layout settings for the installed wordpress theme- not for the imported starter theme, is here something I doing wrong?

And the Elementor starter theme page loads very fast in gtmetrix.
Super I have found a way to work with wordpress, I got errors and issues with all other plugins; spectra, stackable, genesis blocks.

Only Gutentor is working great and Starter Themes with Elementor.
Starter Themes with gutenberg= not working well getting many issues with theme layout.

Have goodnight evening rest guys...

it's very confusing that you can use the free starter themes only with the astra theme, when you use a different theme, then the blocks or whole template import does not work, it works fo rme at best with the free elementor.

Ah I see, in my softaculous I have Microweber cms I will install and try it, on google research it looks like very easy to use as weebly or godaddy website builder. I hope I can install it on a litespeed server (?)

Do you guys have experience with the Microweber cms? Is it a good alternative to wordpress org or not?
Big plus was I tried last year 2 months godaddy supreme hosting ($20 monthly) it was fast and has a good amount of extra nice premade wordpress themes you not find elsewhere. These themes for me, wa smore easy to customize with gutenberg than the boring free standard themes....

Only very rare webhosters have these nice wp themes in their hosting package, they are beautiful and easy to customize.

I tried SitePad too on second installation in a different directory like (mydomain.com/test/sitepad...)
but all themes I tried had layout shifts; the main menu navbar jumps when clicking on menu items, very weird, could not find out the culprit.

So I will Microweber cms a try maybe it has better source code than wp?
Sites like lxoffice(us) uses Microweber the site loads fast and has clean source code.
Same with wix sites they load fast and have clean source code.

But I missing a big point here, correct me guys, when I think a few years back as the DIY theme comes out, I have in my mind, that in their source code had this order; first the meta data then the main content, then after that, sidebar, nav menu, etc,etc...

I mean the Thesis theme here.

On many cms today you will find contrary order in the source code like this;
first th emeta data, then sidebar, nav menu, second menu, many links to third party author theme resources (or something like that) , then near the end you see the main content.

I be sure that when google can crawl the content at first spots in the source code you will rank higher.
What do you think will happen when the google bot crawls a lot of met adata (is needed yes) then third party links, sidebar, navbar.. and other useless stuff what do you think will happen with your seo?

Check the source code of the site diythemes(com) you will see it way different than the source code of wp, wix, drupal, jopomla.....

This is the culprit why many people here have "I wrote 2000 pages" but google has indexed only 500 of my pages, yeah this will be the cause of such bad source code, I be sure and you wonder why google not will index the rest of your pages.

But the DIY theme is not cheap and not so user friendly to customize.
Can not use free nulled version risk of malware and that your webhost will ban you is high.

Does Festinger has this DIY themes?
What do you think of DIY theme for seo ?

Happy friday people !

It looks so easy to use and free.
You can do lot for absolutely nothing

yes free and so easy to use but you are on a blind side....

Check this wordpress site page source: samunderwood.co.uk, what do you see ? Very bloated code and span tags overall- good for google seo?

Then check squarespace : (www)charletteohara.ca- much pure clean code (ok little bit too much white space)
Then check Bill Gates site with expensive SiteCore builded: (www)gatesnotes.com = fast loading, pure clean code.

Which two websites here form these three will google prefer to index and rank ? What do you think?
And there you have the answer why google is only indexing 40% or 50% of your clutter clunk code wp site...( clean code is one seo factor of google)

I not have seen a free cms that can produc such clean code , maybe Drupal is here better than joomla and wp, but not user friendly a pain to work with.
The code with headless cms netlify + Hugo maybe will be better, but very complicated to install and setup, all with code (using ssh commands) ? Very weird and sick.
I not found a guide who explain me how I build /design my page with Hugo.... too complicated for me and I be sure, for most of us too.

This is not to bashing wordpress or joomla...it is for showing you interesting things to have always an wide open mind, finding new interesing things and learn from it maybe when possible, adapt it to your content strategy.

Have your wp clode clean as possible you should have only seo and sitemap plugin and using opnly text based theme , only one text block in gutenberg then you will have best possibloe clean code in wp.
And have markup schema plugin where you can fill out filds at the right gutenberg sidebar for any post/ page your write, google will index more of your website when you have schema markup.

Happy Sunday!
