it's very confusing that you can use the free starter themes only with the astra theme, when you use a different theme, then the blocks or whole template import does not work, it works fo rme at best with the free elementor.
Ah I see, in my softaculous I have Microweber cms I will install and try it, on google research it looks like very easy to use as weebly or godaddy website builder. I hope I can install it on a litespeed server (?)
Do you guys have experience with the Microweber cms? Is it a good alternative to wordpress org or not?
Big plus was I tried last year 2 months godaddy supreme hosting ($20 monthly) it was fast and has a good amount of extra nice premade wordpress themes you not find elsewhere. These themes for me, wa smore easy to customize with gutenberg than the boring free standard themes....
Only very rare webhosters have these nice wp themes in their hosting package, they are beautiful and easy to customize.
I tried SitePad too on second installation in a different directory like (mydomain.com/test/sitepad...)
but all themes I tried had layout shifts; the main menu navbar jumps when clicking on menu items, very weird, could not find out the culprit.
So I will Microweber cms a try maybe it has better source code than wp?
Sites like lxoffice(us) uses Microweber the site loads fast and has clean source code.
Same with wix sites they load fast and have clean source code.
But I missing a big point here, correct me guys, when I think a few years back as the DIY theme comes out, I have in my mind, that in their source code had this order; first the meta data then the main content, then after that, sidebar, nav menu, etc,etc...
I mean the Thesis theme here.
On many cms today you will find contrary order in the source code like this;
first th emeta data, then sidebar, nav menu, second menu, many links to third party author theme resources (or something like that) , then near the end you see the main content.
I be sure that when google can crawl the content at first spots in the source code you will rank higher.
What do you think will happen when the google bot crawls a lot of met adata (is needed yes) then third party links, sidebar, navbar.. and other useless stuff what do you think will happen with your seo?
Check the source code of the site diythemes(com) you will see it way different than the source code of wp, wix, drupal, jopomla.....
This is the culprit why many people here have "I wrote 2000 pages" but google has indexed only 500 of my pages, yeah this will be the cause of such bad source code, I be sure and you wonder why google not will index the rest of your pages.
But the DIY theme is not cheap and not so user friendly to customize.
Can not use free nulled version risk of malware and that your webhost will ban you is high.
Does Festinger has this DIY themes?
What do you think of DIY theme for seo ?
Happy friday people !
