Its a company, there is no cruel, it is a corporate money making mechanism like every one of us and how we would become at scale.
People get angry about google not paying tax, its not there fault, if its not law, why bother? who here would opt in to tax if it was optional?
They are a huge company and our policy makers bend over to them, you want to get angrt get angry at those that let companes do whatever they like.

Why hate when you have no one to hate? Yes, they may be cruel but at the end of the day, they are just doing their jobs and us doing our own. The person we should hate should be the Google board of directors! They are the ones who would drive the Google team to make more money. They are the cruel businessmen who want nothing else but profits and make things difficult for us.

To me and most others in this world, he has done no wrong, or very little wrong, and we are using the great search engine 24x7x365|366 free! So he is cute AND innocent to me. I don't know what he has done wrong to you, but you're being needlessly cruel to him and his team.

And he being the only human face of Google the world sees, he understands how big risks he is taking considering how many are pissed off may be due to no absolute faults of his.... some guys commit seo-harakiri and then live to blame him or his colleagues for their own needless inactions or inappropriate actions or more aptly, for breaking Google ToS!!!
