What do you guys think??

I just created my first post on my first blog. Lemme know what you think as far as formatting and such. I'm not sure how I feel about the theme, I'm probably going to change it to something more colorful.

Be as vicious as you please, I want all of the constructive criticism you've got.

I like the background layout of your blog. It's simple, minimalistic, and gets straight to the point. The side bar to the left really makes it easier for users to interact with you and see where they need to go.

But I think you can do some work on adding a few plugins to the site. Let your readers see what's up with your social media presence.

Also, add some important information on the clickable side bar. It's pretty empty, and would be interesting if you placed 3-5 extra topics on it.

Sorry, but I don't like the leaves background. I picture something more electrifying like maybe an actual plug with a surge of electricity or something. Or even a bolt of lightning - or maybe someone plugging a plug in a socket and their hair stands up on their head lol..., but seriously, I think any of those things would be better inline with the enlightening "knowledge-pool" theme that you are trying to portray with your blog. But leaves, I just don't see any relevancy, sorry.

Overall I like where you're going with this, and I think it will play well with social. Your site is very easy to understand and uncluttered. Very well-written introduction. Now just start pumping out some relevant posts and getting some engagement going on your blog.

Your introductory post seems good and written well. It's good to change the background as it does suit. Add some posts and social sharing buttons so the users can easily share posts on social media.
