Hi everyone,

I’m posting for expert advice regarding a serious SEO issue I’ve been dealing with. My website was slightly affected around 15th August, with minor ranking drops in some keywords. However, by September, things got much worse—keywords that were on the 1st page deranked to the 7th page and beyond. Now, they’ve stabilized but are stuck around the 4th page and aren’t recovering.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:

Conducted multiple deep audits of the site.
Checked for potential penalties, technical issues, and algorithm updates.
Despite all efforts, no clear cause or solution has been found.

I’m seeking consultation or advice from anyone who can help me figure out what’s going wrong and how to fix this. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation? Any suggestions on how to approach this would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help.

Try building links from high traffic and authoritative sites which will help you. Publish contents with in depth info.

Update your content to better align with users' needs, analyze competitors to identify what they’re doing better, and focus on building quality backlinks. Improve your technical SEO, like site speed and internal linking, and review any recent changes that could have hurt your site.

Google often rolls out updates that may affect overall rankings. From what you describe, it seems that the updates may target your site.

It's hard to say what the reason is. Based on my experience, I can give several examples that I've encountered.
1) The code on the pages changed, in my case a second h1 appeared in the code and this affected the site's fall
2) Links to pages within the site were removed. There were links in the menu to the promoted pages, these links were removed from the menu. After this, the positions dropped. Returning the links to the menu helped and the positions were restored
3) The content changed. I had a case when a large piece of text was duplicated on all pages. Because of this, the positions dropped.
