HELLO! Everyone
recently i,ve been watching so many videos and threads on affiliate marketing and everyone has a different point of view and i am literally so bombarded with information that i am confused now!!
I wanna start affiliate marketing but i don't want some get rich quick schemes, I wanna have a professional website around 1 specific niche and do affiliate marketing through it!
As I have not done affiliate marketing before, I don't know how to do this properly!
can someone please help me on telling me what are the things I'm gonna be needing to start the blog and eventually earning from it!!
I AM LITERALLY SO CONFUSED!

With so much info overload you are 90% more prone to failure.

For a moment just forget everything you know. Visit the making money section here on BHW. Choose only one method at a time. Weigh the pros and cons. And start working with the one that suits you.

Also as a newbie, do you know about the shiny object syndrome?

Just put one step at a time and be creative about how you can re-do that step in a different way from what is mentioned in the original post.

Good Luck!

Man, calm down. You don't need to do know everything right of the bat.

Check the guide I linked above. If you are sure you want to build a long term business and build a website, you should begin by reading about niche selection, keyword research and generally into what you want to promote. Is amazon affiliates? is it clickbank? is it something else?

Best thing for you to do is not to look into gazillion different guides, but to ground yourself on what exactly you want and start with 1 small step. And I promise you, once you start doing little things, you will learn by doing along the way as well as you will learn along the way what you need to learn.

Rome wasn't built in a day and any kind of business won't be either. You need to start with one small step and build from there. There is no need to overwhelm yourself and no need to read gazillion different things that are not currently relevant.

The sooner you embed into your brain that this shit will take months, maybe years, the easier it will be to stop obsessing over 100 different methods and just stick with one thing for a long ride.

This forum is super helpful, once you encounter some issue that you cannot solve yourself, you can easily ask on BHW for help. People will help you if you show that you are an action taker and not just wasting everyone's time.

Hope that helps

No problem man.

My one more suggestion is that you should take your time doing keyword research and picking a niche. Don't go picking most competitive niches ( them being money making online/business, health niches or fitness ) as you will set your self up for failure right away.

Pick something with low competition and focus on quality over quantity when it comes to content etc.

And of course, if you choose to promote manually over social media and forums, provide value instead of just spamming your link.

For the long run, don't neglect SEO. Promoting your website manually is all good, but you want to get that organic traffic later on in your journey
to get visitors without putting so much effort daily.

I wish you best of luck and success in your journey. And don't quit!

Reading your replies,
Why the hell I didn't ask this questions before, from the last week my brain was smoking content out.
Thanks for your help man!
God bless:) <3 <3

Here you'll get so many info on a affiliate category where you can learn and try yourself. You'll reach some point soon.

Also to remember, stick with one thing and change it multiple times as you gather more data rather than try multiple

here a brief list of the most profitable niche you may find interesting:
  1. Beauty
  2. Health and Wellness
  3. Hobbies
  4. Outdoor Survival
  5. Pets
  6. Fitness
  7. Fashion
  8. Gadgets
  9. Self-Improvement
  10. Investment
  11. Loans
you should first start choosing your niche, then you should start your website (many wordpress themes are optimized and structured specifically for for affiliates)
optimize your site for the category chosen, speed up your site and make a good on-page seo work, start marketing and keep your site updated.. it's a start.

Beat advice, if you want to do only affiliate marketing, block out all the other shiny objects and only do affiliate marketing. Review sites and review videos posted to YouTube is an idea.

Yes, like someone here already said, info overload is going to do more harm than good. I suggest you do niche research first. After that, set up your blog and fill it up with content then you can move on to monetizing and affiliate marketing. the secret is to find a niche that is really profitable.
