Hi guys,

Im hoping someone can just maybe give me a few snippets of advice and maybe point me to the right place.

Im trying to rank a low / medium keyword on page 1 of google - its for a local business.

the keyword is also in the domain

i know in the past some backlinks would work

but with all recent panda / penguin update can you please let me know what i need to do.

also does it matter if its black/whitehat for this ?

thank you.

just create a simple blog
add couple of unique articles
build backlinks from various sources like web 2.O properties blog comments etc

Agree with above, but make a few high quality blogs, also make use out of business directories like Yelp and so on. I would do 10 high quality blogs with 20 second tier high quality and then smash the second tier with web2 spam.

Nothing has changed. Only thing you need to focus on link diversification by using variety of anchors with certain percentages. Creating parasites is really helpful too. Properties can be used as shield and you can boost those properties with many links and add valuable links to the money site.

Right on the money. OP, this will get you ranking. I know this first hand.

what are parasites?

The methods of backlinks is the same.

Build Web 2.0s
Blog Posts
Blog Comments
EDU backlinks.

Content must be unique in every way.

Thanks
