Hi, I am brand new to the whole SEO thing. I started bloggin about warez for about one or two months ago, I use blogger But now I realised that I should have chosen to use wordpress. Is there any simple way to just copy my contain on the blogg to create a wordpress? Also please line up a couple of reason why I should or sholdn't use wordpress, perhaps it isn't nessisery?
If you got any other tips on how to increase my traffic you are welcome to share them, my current blog is at ~250-400 views per day.

Yes there is a plugin for that. Search for Wordpress blogger importer on Google.

Thank you!

Basicly, I don't know alot of WordPress yet. How do the SEO etc work? The only thing I know about SEO is to use "<h>,<p>,<alt tags> " etc.
Perhaps anyone could help me get started :p

the best decision made my friend - moving away from blogger
where you would be wasting time for google to own all your content

Why do you think that? Some opinons please! I have read in other threads on the forum that sticking with blogger is the best option.. so I'm a bit skeptical now :(

Move to wordpress, it have more SEO advantages , just go through the download section, you can find some ebooks about the basic seo

Wordpress is far better than blogger. You will never have any qualms. Technically speaking, it functioning is awesome and is a straight winner. If you would notice, most of the bloggers use WordPress.

Word press can be a little less friendly to the total newb, but outside of that... word press is the winner. Use the importer as suggested above.

Yep like everyone said there is a plugin for it. you will like the change. Wordpress is way better for SEO projects

I guess people are mixing up blogger and wordpress .com platforms (free blog hosting platforms) and the software itself.
The best thing for you (if you want to grow your blog) is to buy a good hosting, install wordpress on it (use autoinstaller in the panel) and you're free to go wherever you want!
D

Wordpress and the Thesis theme are a great combination. Once you've installed WP and played with the admin panel, you'll soon get the hang of it. There are some amazing sites based on WP - it's used by some very large corporations. The best one I've seen so far is at http://www.domaingang.com - some high-end skinning and tweaking ;)

Will I see a remarkable views difference if I go from blogger(around 500/day atm) to WP? And is it possible to transfer my current links to redirect the visitors to the new blog? For example if someone googles "bla1 bla2 bla3" and my old blog comes up, but when they click it they get redirected to my new one.
And is it possible to make the wordpress blog look exactly like my old one by using one of those import plugins?

Allright I decided to switch to Wordpress, but then all of my traffic will be gone and I will have to reget followers and everything? How do I fix this the best way? :/
