I have my own domain, and recently I had tried using 000webhostapp to host it.
I run some affiliate business that after some time, it doesn't work very well.
Therefore, I chose to close my account and now my domain is empty.

    My objective is:
    1) Gain money from my website

    My problem is:
    1) Not much money
    2) Obviously you can't change your domain name, so when I want to change my goal for this one website, the name just don't fit in

    My strengths are:
    1) Web programming
    2) SEO
    3) basic hosting terms

So, I'm trying to ask experts here, what should I choose.
    Either:
    - Use my domain ( codegateau.top ) and let SEO do the job. Which is good but now I need to take care of the hosting. Can be settled, but my website name is suspicious. IDK how but 000webhostapp actually place SSL cert on my website, still Instagram and Facebook rejects it for being malicious ( maybe because of those affiliate links.

    - Just use subdomain from Wordpress or Blogger. Set the SEO myself and pray to God it would make money eventually.

    What ideas I have:
    - Do a blog on famous holiday destination and run some ads.
    - Do a blog on reviews and run some ads.
    - Do a database project and run some ads.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME :)
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    What I wouldn't appreciate :
    1) Suggest me do a porn site to generate traffic.

    What I would appreciate :
    1) Alternative to Paypal to receive money. ( I can't receive money with Paypal since it ask me to insert Legal Name and company, like wtf? If I cheat, would it be safe? )

What I wrote might be confusing, forgive me since I am very stressful for now. TQ

always go for domain instead of subdomain if you are serious into business.
you can have full control over your website, it's only around $10 per year.
if you have technical background, i believe it will be easy to setup free SSL for yourself.

go for domain and not for subdomain. It's better in the longer run.

As per your domain name, you should start blog based on web development for your existing domain. But for that you have to write articles. As your strength is web development and SEO too then you should also look sites' onpage and other. You should also make social page for social platform such as facebook, linkedin, pinterest, g+ etc. Twitter is also good social platform to aware people about your website's latest post.

If talking about making money from this type of blog site then you can accept guest/sponsor post on it but for that you should have to make it popular.
