Hi

By this step

Then you have to download Squid and install it:

cd /usr/src
wget http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...1.fc10.src.rpm
rpm -ivh squid-3.0.STABLE10-1.fc10.src.rpm


Im getting a error 404 anyone know how to correct this?

The archive was moved, just substitute for:

Code:

wget http://archives.fedoraproject.org/pub/archive/fedora/linux/releases/10/Fedora/source/SRPMS/squid-3.0.STABLE10-1.fc10.src.rpm

You have to now generate and install the rpm file:

cd /usr/src/redhat/SPECS
rpmbuild -bb squid.spec


In the last comman im getting no such file or directory.. Why?

(may be due to the change in url above..?)

It's important to note you don't have to use centos. Debian works with squid just fine. I was curious about how this is done too...thanks for the instructions.

Selling proxies is harder thing than you though, people will always try to perform some illegal activites on your IP's and you will get in trouble with your host or even a law.
Buying offshore server, for example, russian or chinese would solve most problems, but their servers cost like 300 $ with 1 or 2 ip, so ...
