Hi, we have a call center in Colombia. We get public data from government sources, organize it and put on an online platform for costumers to access it after paying a fee. This is a very good business model if you have the correct scripts and trained salespeople.

We want to know if anyone else is doing this and what are your results. We are willing to give and receive advice.

We are also looking for more public databases that companies might find attractive, any suggestions?

What sort of records are you working with? what gov data bases?
-Foreclosures? -Criminal records?

More business related, imports and exports, annual reports, taxes paid, number of employees.

google
open data
and
country/state/province/city

open data New York, NY

Sell it offline to agencies such as telemarketing firms and cut it off for a lump sum.

Selling data is hard to these days and it's just like the insurance craze it could become near impossible to make any money with data unless you push it yourself.

We have 40 million long form paydays and 53 million mortgage refi leads. All of these leads have over 20 fields of information.

Wealso have a conusmer credit file which has over 350 demographics attached to each record.

I would have to disagree with the guy that said data is a tough sale...it is part of my primary business...i sell data everyday and if you put a little bit of effort into it then you can for sure sell whja you are talking about. Go on linked in to the lead forums and data forums. It will be tough at first but once you are known as a solid lead pro, you will be good. Tell me more about the data you are housing. I may be able to help

I need info on civil litigation cases, including mal practice and insurance litigation. Can you help?
